What's for tea tonight? (#8)

I've shafted myself again, the hash browns were banging - apparently I'm going to be cooking a lot more of them, lol! :hmm: :)

Thursday was a tray bake of chicken, sausages, chorizo, potatoes, onion and rosemary.
Friday the boy was instructed to get fish and chips but instead brought home a tesco takeaway Indian meal for two with chicken tikka massala, chicken jalfrezi, onion bhajis, far too much pilau rice and naans (which I couldn't manage!) supplemented by an aubergene massala.
Today was a scurvy banishing stir fry of chicken, broccoli, green beans, sugar snap, onions, soy and orange with noodles.

On all 3 days we've had mini magnums for pudding. Long live summer!

Okay then. Because you can look after yourself, and you deserve to have something nice to eat this evening, and Badgers will like it.

You will be pleased to know that it is in the oven :)

I had to wing it a bit coz (even though it didn't say it was for one or anything) it seemed like a tiny amount and I didn't have an oven dish that small.
I added extra water, extra pasta, tomato paste, black pepper and paprika.
We will see how this turns out :hmm:

Want. In spite of the onions.

We're having (had some y/day too) Levi Roots Reggae Reggae sticky Lime BBQ Chicken, which is shite, but we thought we'd give it a whirl, sorry Levi :( bland as feck, have had to tailor it to our taste.

Also have burgers with a haloumi, red onion, cherry tomatoe and feta salad.

+ made some brown soda bread.

Some of the goodies are from y/day, others (salad) we're making fresh today, in time for the footie.

I've finally got round to making Hestons chilli. It smells amazing but it's a bloody faff and not cheap so don't think I'll be doing it too often.

We'll have it with rice, tortilla chips and sour cream.

Followed by coffee and walnut cake if we can fit it in.

I'm kinda ill...neck injury/headache that is causing me to lie down so BF has had to go shopping which he is rubbish at. He never looks at dates/prices and always buys luxury items. He is cooking now and I'm upstairs resting..:hmm:

I cooked today with the ingredients he bought yesterday. The potatoes were organic and bought full price with a use by date of today....we used about 1/3 of the bag. He admits that he only looks at the sell by date on bread.

The boy will be back late again.
We have two mini camemberts that I am going to push some garlic in to and bake.
Served with garlic bread and salad.

I can't be arsed so I just gave BL the cold leftover rice from last night with some sliced tomatoes, sardines, pepper and lemon and a bit of harissa. It's good when there's only him to feed because he will eat anything with gusto.
