what about the poor broccoli Sheo...is that getting palmed off on the guinea pigs?

Well yes, they will get through it on their own worst ways (although they prefer it fresh, the fussy bastards :mad: )...thing is, I don;t have the kids back till tomorrow and sometimes it's just more of an effort than I can be arsed to make to COOK for myself, iykwim :D I mean, it's nice not to have to :cool:
I WILL make that though - it sounds lovely - maybe tomorrow (when the kids are back :facepalm: although if I just didn't put chilli in theirs they'd defo like it, too :hmm: )
 
horseradish in coleslaw is lush.

I really fancy a jacket spud with cheese and coleslaw for my tea now, I might have to make a detour to the shop on the way home.
 
vietnamese summer rolls :cool: vegetarian ones, with smoked tofu. yum! maybe some kind of main course dish too but I'm mostly in favour of many many summer rolls.

I thought you went to Honest because there special is beef and bone marrow this week, I think.
 
It's the bone marrow bit that put me off - what does that actually mean?

It's the tasty guey stuff in bones, you can get bone marrow bones from the butchers, ask them to split the bones, you can either roast the bones and serve with some bread or scrape the marrow out and mix with mince for burgers or make a gravy or whatever. It's VERY tasty.

Chicken and black bean chilli with rice. It should be Chipotle chicken but Maidenhead hasn't been able to provide me with any chipotle paste!

Oooh, I am hoping to wander into the Head later so I will look out for that. Otherwise I was just going to use chilli sauce of which we seem to have loads of half bottles of various types :facepalm::D but that won't have the smokiness that chipotle does
