What's for tea tonight? (#8)

I've only just had breakfast and I'm supposed to be thinking about what's for tea?

I've got a hotpot in the oven and it's starting to smell really good.
It's not exactly hotpot weather, but I bet that won't bother me when I get at it.

I went to M&S and got their £10 takeaway deal....a spicy prawn starter, lemon chicken, char sui pork, veg noodles and a bottle of wine. So that.

crisps, crumpets (2) and fruit loaf toasted (2 slices)

it was bloody fantastic and just what I wanted :D

Can't see this changing despite the weather so veggie roast with one of those Quorn roasts (a McCartney one), roast potatoes, mange tout, green beans, sugar snap peas and baby carrots. Will try and do some stuffing too and lots of gravy.

Mini magnums for pudding....for BFs so and cider for me.

My mum's coming down for the day and we are also having an *INCORRECT* roast (sun's BLAZING away  )....chicken, roast potatoes, broccoli, sugar snap peas, gravy....think I'm going to fuck the yorkshire's off though. Apple pie and custard for pudding (both shop bought :p ).

I fancy a salad.

Cauliflower cheese and (oven) chips.

With bacon and mushrooms and maybe some savoy cabbage mixed in with the cauliflower.

Never let the weather dictate what you eat. Fuck salad, sunshine or no sunshine we all need a decent scran.

Goin to me mams in a bit an hopefully she'll have made me somethin - Otherwise, I may simply die from malnutrition, not having eaten anything for what? Two hours.

Roast pousin with rosemary, garlic, lemon, basted in white wine & roast potatos in goose fat & stir fry pak choi, oyster mushrooms and cashew. I love sunday dinners.

Had a big roast in the pub earlier so should be a small snack but has turned into roast chicken breasts with brie and bacon, new potatoes with butter and chives and roast aspergers.

Tbf, it SNOWED in April the other year, so maybe we're just none of us convinced that the same might not happen again...and we're subconsciously furiously adding to our winter fat layers, just in case... :hmm:

Sausage tray bake with potato,.sweet red pepper, courgette, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes. As a little experiment, i sealed the sausages in a pan first ant then deglazed the pot with herby red wine and poured it over the sausages and veggies. hopefully it should be good :)
