What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Curry. Trying out Patak's 'chicken tikka masala paste' which involves marginally more thought than their jars of sauce. I will have to add in the tin of tomatoes myself. Must get more packs of spices so we can go back to proper home made though.

Spag Bol I think. Haven't had it for ages :)

Delivery of this was rather delayed as I had an unexpected visit from my brother :) So first course was wine and the spag bol is now cooking. It smells fucking lush and I really need to leave it for another half hour but I'm soooooo hungry...

I'd link Stella's carrot if I could (see drag thread) but still can't link...

Tonight it's veggie burgers with salad toppings and potato wedges. I have proper seeded burger buns.

Yesterday we had steak and chips with watercress, rocket and spinach salad on side. For afters we had lemon pudding but resisted the wine that came with it  I'm sure I'll make short work of it tonight though...

I don't know, the freezer is full of lovely foods (which I dreamt were all ruined last night because the freezer door was left open  :( woke up in a panic and all was ok), but I didn't take anything out to defrost  and I'm really hungry today.

Oh, just remembered, can have chorizo and prawns in white wine, prawns defrost quite quickly :)

Lamb stew with olives and preserved lemons... I made it last Sunday though but it's still in the fridge as I haven't had the chance to eat it... I hope I don't poison myself

Waiting for the bloke to get in from work and then we'll decide between chippy tea and takeaway curry.
I'll let him decide as he's had a long day at work.

Spinach & ricotta tortellini pasta (shop bought) and shop bought Seeds of Change Tomato sauce, having salad and weight watchers garlic bread.

Dunno :hmm:
Got the kids coming back tonight so reckon I'll just let them choose something from the freezer...pizza, breaded haddock, chicken fillet burgers....something like that... :hmm:

Spicy chicken wings and pulled pork is the plan. Had chilli dogs last night, surf and turf on thurs, chilli on Wednesday. It's all gone a bit man v food. I want Mexican. :hmm:

Patak's Tikka, balti and tandori pastes are a must.

I'm making the usual huge wok full of chicken tikka masala today from my own base sauce, home made naan breads and home made onion bhaji's.

Their paste was indeed excellent. Not quite spicy enough for my liking but tasty nonetheless. :)
