What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Chicken tikka dippers with raita, left over chicken dopiaza. Maybe some more poppadoms.
Possibly 2 knickerbocker glories for pudding :D

Lunch in the Greyhound in Dulwich - they forgot to put our orders through and we had to wait 1.5 hours, useless tossers. I had rib eye steak & chips, Mrs R had her first roast dinner of the day - pork with potatoes, broccoli and carrots.

Just put a broccoli & gorgonzola pie in the oven for tonight's roast, with spuds, parsnips, carrots & gravy.

Chippy dinner tonight as there is cleaning stuff in the oven. I've had pasta 3 times this week and I couldn't think of anything else that didn't need the oven or grill.

The dogs have had our chicken legs that we were going to have.

I'll probably have a fishcake, depends what's cooked.

Exciting times here!

Have you eaten at all, Madz?
Yeah, I won't starve :D I think it's because I took an antibiotic about 20 minutes before I started eating. At least I hope it's that. If I don't get back to uni tomorrow I'm going to spontaneously combust.

Mashed spuds, Linda Mc country pies (that I didn't have last week cos I bought proper saussies instead), peas, and possibly carrots, and gravy. Winter comfort food. Oh, and wine, even though my overdraft has reached scary levels. It's Monday - I deserve it.

Sausage and mash with gravy, plus the leftover broccoli & gorgonzola pie if Mrs R hasn't had it all for lunch.

Not sure - it was going to be one thing, but that's up for re-negotiation any time in the next half hour.

pasta (wheat free fr him, normal penne for me) with a creamy leek, pea and bacon sauce. Which was nom.
Magnums for pudding :)

What, the pasta comes in a jar? HURL

no...it was lazy posting..pasta from a packet and sauce from a jar but it is now unlikely that I shall eat this due to scoffing a huge bag of dorritos & dip and a pkt of Crunchie biscuits....I'm on holiday and not got dressed all day.

Change of plan, there is loads of piez left, so that with potato & parsnip mash with sweet peppers, mushrooms and cherry toms roasted in olive oil, mint and pine nuts.

I've never tried roasting stuff in mint, not really sure it'll work, but I had loads of it so fackit.

had my tea cooked for me tonight and it was mussels, feta, mushrooms, onion and olives, all fried up and served with eggy pasta. fuck knows what she was thinking.

i had bangers and mash (waitrose) with green beans - the readymeal is obviously too small but not that bad. the beans, a feeble way of being healthy.

been eatin recently in wasabi at victoria station - really not bad - the spicy pork is okay, so is the katsu chicken (although the coating has probably been there all day and not crispy), still, king sized portions with chip shop curry sauce and sticky rice. The tofu with noodles is weak, with spongy flavourless tofu, a suprising winner is the sweet and sour chicken, a flavour i usually avoid in general. the general chicken curry is chip shop paradise. a good spot for late night grazing and open till 11 on sundays.

I've got some courgettes that are closer to marrows than courgettes. I shall be doing them in a cheese sauce. I have no idea what else will go with them yet.

we "had to have a break from curry" last night so tonight i shall do the chicken tikka and saag paneer that i would have done last night. Maybe some bombay potatoes too...

I'm going to either have Sausage, mash and onion gravy (thanks for planting the seed Ringo!!) or a nice medium rare steak with sautéed new potatoes.
