What's for tea tonight? (#8)

last night was haggis, neeps and tatties. first time in a long time outside of the traditional date in January :D was tasty goodness. followed by too much sekt & whisky :facepalm: therefore today will be dinner out somewhere.
 
I got buffalo braising steak from Brixton farmer's market, so I'm making a buffalo stew. Meat with shallots, red wine, carrots, potatoes, mushrooms, sweet potatoes, kale.
The meat is marinading in the fridge right now. :)
 
Steak with creamy mushroom in puff pastry, saute potatoes and peas. Then lemon sponge, custard and cream....it's a none diet day today!!
 
marrow stuffed with turkey.

I havent had marrow since I was a kid and I didn't like it then. If I don't like it now I'll probably end up eating meat, cheese, olives and crackers.

I'm going to say that MARROW RINGS are the way to go....OH YEAH! :cool: And don't be shy with the flavouring! :D

ETA - I did a variation of this a couple of weeks back (ACTUAL TURKEY MINCE/MARROW RECIPE!)....

i was trying to imagine how you could possibly stuff bone marrow with turkey and was about to suggest she did it the other way round
 
haha its the vegetable marrow not bone innards. I'm not sure how I feel about bone marrow? Slightly queasy.

Anyway its in the oven. The turkey mincey stuff is nice and there was a little bit too much to all fit in the marrow so I had to eat it. It was yum. I sliced it length ways sheo, if I like it next time Ill try marrow rounds.
