I do that then the kids and SO want a pasta bake, so thats some (lots) of it, then I want to make a lasagne or two, thats more. Plus the both get demolished in days even with a 20l (ish?) stock pan. Got barely 1.5l of the last batch remaining.Have made a cauldron of my award winning bolognese sauce. Should be enough there to put a few batches in the freezer.
I suppose one of the benefits of having a mostly dreary summer is that there have only been a couple of occasions where it's been too hot to cook/eat something like that if you fancy itChicken, ham and leek pie, mash, broccoli and gravy.
That's a shame. I got quite excited by the idea. I just need to persuade my one surviving courgette plant to produce something...Well my involitini were nice enough but not 'come dine with me' party good enough. Individual parts (filling, sauce) were lovely but the overall experience was a bit bland (in texture and taste). so back to the drawing board for that!
Yeah I feel it could be better with some changes? Would probs suit a more tangy filling/spicy sauce and deffo not the breadcrumb topping. (I did lazy cat kitchen recipe). But would still just be pretty good not outstanding. That's a shame. I got quite excited by the idea. I just need to persuade my one surviving courgette plant to produce something...
I had samosa chaat, and gulab jamun for pudding (went to Tooting).
