What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Same when I need it lol was hoping you had an answer.

If I see any in a regular supermarket chain, I'll let you know!
I suspect the answer is probably Italian specialist delis and not as cheap as one might hope for a bit of what is essentially cured spare pig cheek scraps :D

Yes I nearly bought an entire kilo a minute ago until invoking my no do it tomorrow if buying things and drinking policy.

Good plan, leave it in the basket and revisit tomorrow when sober and not in the first flush of excitement about sourcing a new ingredient :D

I was invited round my neighbours' and I was there a lot longer than expected, so too late for cooking - plus I'm trying to escape the tyranny of my enormous veggie stews and perhaps give my very slow diet a kick up the arse - reliable though it is...
Plus my neighbours shocked me by discussing their lack of enthusiasm for veggies ....

So I started off with a salad made from a large amount of grated marrow - I picked two ginormous ones today...

Dessert will doubtless follow - jumbo oats, blueberry soy yoghurt, banana, oat milk, perhaps some apple with the brown bits cut off that need eating up ...

Ugh my reply from last night didn't send (think I fell asleep). Slightly rubbish oven pizza, but still hit the spot. Strawberry cornetto for afters.

And prepared tea for two nights next week as I got some yellow sticker chicken breasts which had to be cooked today.

Was meant to be out for dinner but been cancelled.. debating between lamb and barley stew using leftover lamb from yesterday, or freezer lasagne..

Meant to be my day off but ended up dealing with loads of work dramas so not sure if I cba cooking

Son and I both felt sicky today so dry toast. Daughter had the delicious smelling pasta sauce I made on Saturday - chicken, mushroom, grated butternut, cream and pesto. Ah well! Hopefully all better tomorrow :)
