Omelette was lovely. Tonight I'm doing chorizo, prawns and green beans with thyme and garlic, trying to remember how I did it the time before because it was lush - but it'll be a made up tea with flat breads because it's Friday.

That's not true! I recall Mr madz having cooked for you more recently than that....once
....can't remember what he made... No one's cooked for me for years *violins* but there again there's only three of us, plus I get nights off having to cook for them at least, which makes a massive difference. Get Mr madz on the case again!
In fact the kids are going to their dad's tonight so I might have a takeaway!
Although I still ended up feeding them last Friday.... If I don't get a takeaway, I'm having langoustine tails
which I'll fry in some garlic butter, greek salad and griddled courgettes in a lemon/garlic/chilli/coriander/red onion dressing.

Nah, we hardly eat out, I take him out for his birthday, and then erm maybe down the pub a few times a year that's it
With takeaways, I can't justify the money in my head when I can make something at home, no matter how tired I am or how shit it'll be
I crack if I'm pissed though, and haven't eaten... chips on the way home
(we did have a stint of chippy friday, but then I freaked and started being uber healthy)

Roasted sausages with diced bacon, mushrooms, shallots and jalepenos. Served on tortelinni in tomato sauce with spinach and a small sprinkle of grated cheese. Was really really good

i had same as yesterday - diced chorizo with fried onions and garlic, olive oil, mixed herbs and chilli flakes, served with spaghetti and extra mature cheddar.
Supernoodles are not to be sniffed at! what flavour?

Oh, yesterday I ate at The Grill at The Dorchester. I had smoked trout with crushed new potatoes, pickled cucumber and horseradish followed by lamb two ways with red pepper puree and portobello mushrooms. No pudding but they did bring me petit fours. It was very tasty and the service was excellent.
Also, I dined alone. I like taking myself out for dinner, I'm great company.

Never had the bacon before then, but they weren't as bad as I had feared. I quite like the beefy ones. Prefer proper ramen though.
