What's for tea tonight? (#8)

This thread always makes me hungry, bloody hell.

Herself is cooking spag bol  tonight for us and a mate of hers. I can't do ANYTHING cause I'm working until 8. I feel bereft...

Still, I bought the wine, so I reckon I've done my manly duty :hmm:

^^ nom!
either veggie lasagne or pizza if i'm home; a medley of spuds and gravy if i'm not.
thanks to the unexpected £fairy, it's now:
spuds, gravy, roast lamb, roast garlics and carrots, stuffing and yorkshires. And a cheesecakefight for afters

what flavour moomoo? I had a pkt of Brannagans roast beef & mustatrd the other day for the first time in yonks & they totally rocked...

my patatas bravas were also stonking. I'm now just about to take some scones out of the oven to have with clotted cream & homemade strawberry preserve.

at least they were the mighty S&V but that's only 99 kcls so not enough to eat at all. My appetite has been a bit forced these past few days due to being all muggy & hot.

OMG that Key Lime Pie was amazing  Only had a bit at my mates so ended up bringing it back home, but popped into the Albert on the way back and it was nearly all polished off there by some of the regulars :D

Nice one soj :) might have to give it a go for bbq in a couple weeks. Should've told you about the easy crushing method... biscuits in a bag and whack with a rolling pin ;)

Don't think food is my friend today.

Yeh, I used that method - most satisfying in the initial stages of just whacking it with the rolling pin :D

We shall be dining on saussies, mashed sweet potato, broccoli/whatever veg I can get, mushy peas, and roast baby spuds today

And the last of the key lime pie

Which version did you do? I did the one without eggs - and will be doing another one soon as I can :D

I did the non egg one as the mate's I was taking it to is pregnant, but I'm going to have to try the other as well. I'm going to be the size of a house at this rate :D

Yeh, I was thinking of having a go at the other one too

It is MASSIVELY calorie laden have to say :D The biscuit base alone hehe :D

We couldn't stop eating it the first night. Had a big slice each, then I nipped out to fork a bit more down me neck, and the pair of us were stood over it shovelling loads more down

I had cider and wine for dinner last night, followed by a reheated spring roll at three in the morning (and I just had the last one for breakfast  ).

Bulghur/courgette/spinach/onion/garlic/king prawns/soy/thyme/tabasco for me tonight. Kids'll be back too so will have to do something for them :hmm: - prob have to be chicken nuggets, chips and courgette.

Lamb chops, new pots, broccoli and green beans.
It was supposed to be something with mince but we went shopping last night and I put everything in the freezer by mistake.

We have shitloads of ice-cream and I'm trying to lose weight. I bought some Ben and Jerrys the other day 1/2 price forgetting I'd ordered some with my online shop. I then bought some kellys honeycomb stuff because loads of you were saying how good it was and that was 1/2 price too. Ffs

Tonight I am going to have a proper meal. I've made meatballs and we're having them with tagliatelle. I can't wait!

Pasta with a sauce made from pork mince, spring onions, tomatoes, courgettes, garlic, red peppers and mushrooms with a bit of chipotle chilli
