What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Veggie shepherd's pie. TVP base with onions, carrots, tomatoes, thyme and an umami stock cube. Potato topping with the last of the celeriac and some crushed peas in, sprinkle of cheese, sesame seeds and pepper.

Should probably do an additional vegetable but might not bother.

The turnip & kale inside the pasta?
no, as a sauce I suppose - this, but altered a bit

Anyhoo, enough about my arse, it's made one too many appearances on the tea thread lately.

Tonight's tea will be crispy chickpeas fried with garlic, warmed in a shawarma paste (was bought it for xmas and been looking for ways to use it), and wrapped in a wholewheat tortilla with fresh coriander, little gem leaves, and sliced raw red onion. Will have with an iceberg and thinly sliced red and orange pepper.

Leftovers from last night, I think OH might eat the noodles before he goes to work tonight (which was the plan), if that is the case I will just do some plain rice to go with my chicken and cashew leftovers

I have been craving sausage, mash, peas and gravy.
I specifically wanted purple sweet potato mash but couldn't find any. I got home from the supermarket and realised I have no peas 😪

So I'm having organic toulouse sausages with desiree and orange sweet potatoe mash with red onions, steamed long stem brocoli and bisto gravy with a touch of red wine.

I was trying to remember what we had Monday but can’t at all.
Dominos delivery last night.
Work is a nightmare this week and I’m working really long hours so Mr Looby is basically doing everything.

Tonight is creamy chicken and mushrooms with rice and crusty bread. I’m really looking forward to some comfort food.
Hopefully he read my mind and bought something for pudding too. :D

It's like a prehistoric monument with standing stones, love it :D Bet it tasted fantastic too, I've not had sausage and mash for ages, must plan that as a meal soon!

I found a tesco's finest cottage pie in the tramps buffet so we had that with the jerusalem artichokes and fennel roasted in olive oil and lemon juice on the side. Delish it was too. No farts yet.
