What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Smoked basa fillets, a jacket potato and a huge pile of cavalo nero (want to make sure my blood is swimming with iron before I make a donation next week). Now sipping a very pleasant Malbec called Jam Shed, which pleasingly tastes like jam.
Oooh I love jam shed, too delicious for its own good.

Can't decide between potato/peppers/sugar snap pea/babycorn/toasted cashew madras with brown basmati, orrrr red pepper/babycorn/ss peas/chestnut mushrooms/egg noodie chow mein stir fry.

Belgian choc cake with blueberries for afters either way.

Went with the madras in the end and it was phwoarrr!

Tonight's tea will be a simple affair of spaghetti tossed in chilli/garlic/olive oil, with black olives, sundried toms, and a shit ton of parmesan.

Jam and cream slices with a decaff tea for afters.

Oooh nice, I am a very recent convert to fennel so will be looking a bit more like this ❤ . Any herbs or anything?
I'll either put some olives and capers and tomatoes in and make it Mediterranean-ish or I might marinade the chicken first in some kind of oil/herb mix - thyme, mixed herbs, that sort of thing. The important ingredient in the traybake as a whole is sea salt, liberally sprinkled.

Chow mein - peppers, onions, garlic, ginger, chestnut mushrooms, babycorn, sugar snap peas, egg noodies, chow mein cheaty sachets and the little bit of leftover brown rice sat doing nowt int fridge.

The jam and cream slices we didn't have last night as my manservant did not present them to me with a brew. I got Belgian choc cake with blueberries instead. Just can't get the staff nowadays. If he wasn't so good on a bazouki I'd have sacked him by now.
