Burgers and chips!

Beef burgers for me (reduced to clear shelf came good), southern style quorn burgers for OH - he's very pleased that they have made a return to the shelves, albeit now in boxes of 4 (less plastic packaging at least). With cheese, onions, mushrooms, tomato, ketchup, mustard etc.

Everyone liked the burgers we had a few days ago so we are having burgers again.

A fruit van has turned up outside a little bar I’m in . So two large tomatoes, 4 Saturn peaches , five apricots and two melons later I’m 5.4 euros down

I'm fighting a lack of enthusiasm... might do courgettes instead of the spinach.

inspired by my german mate's 'kartofel mit quark und paté' fav meal been getting a veg box grown locally and all the stuff is banging.

Baked salmon, new potatoes, mashed carrots and parsnips. It was delicious.

Massive bowl of vanilla ice cream for dessert.

OH was off work last night, we had early tea of sticky toffee pudding (bought, not home made!) he had his with custard and I had ice cream.

We then had late tea of spaghetti bolognese (home made!) - meat for me, veggie version for him.

Tea today will be the remains of the bolognese.

Mindless Chef fish pie with sweet potato mash. Very tasty if a bit salty. That's the last of them though, certainly till I get paid. They're too expensive and I have other stuff that needs eating.
