What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Sorry to break up the chilli party, but we're having beans on toast. Hers is on sliced white and mine is on overpriced, but delicious, sourdough with brown sauce. I also have vodka.
This is what I need for tomorrow... where would I find some? :hmm:

Mega stirfry with added grated carrot and a teeny bit of red chilli - just enough to make me sweat.

First time using the induction hob I bought years ago and immediately hated because it seemed so much more complicated than a simple gas jet, Also I hated the seeming incongruity of the interface of a blackened wok and the glass surface and the physicality of the technique.

I still prefer gas, but this thing delivers far more heat to the food - so much smoke !

Been eating really healthy dinners....lots of brown pasta with creamy sauces and then a big slab of mackerel on the side. I have lost half a stone in two weeks, that is not a joke.

Yesterday we had swedish meatballs in soft white baps with lettuce, mustard and mayo, crisps and Curly Wurlys - celebratory wine for me, too

I've had to spend this lovely, sunny day hanging around for a parcel (which has just come - but now I have to wait for my girl to get back from town anyway   :D ) so passed some time this morning doing a load of cooking.

I did a chinese marinade for some chicken thighs before sticking them in the freezer, a pork and bean chilli (YES, I KNOW - I'M LATE! ) which we'll have today with rice and grated cheddar, some spicy beanburgers, some hummus and some lemon curd frangipane muffins.
