What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Had some 'boston bean melts' from Asda and they were bloody gorgeous. I think they were reduced to clear when I bought them some time ago, so I'm gonna have to retrieve the packaging from the bin tmoz and copy down the ingredients :(

Yesterday we had salt and pepper haddock fillets, oven chips and broccoli and Ripples for pudding.

Today is meant to be lentil and bacon soup for a fast day but I'm sacking it off in favour of a takeaway - just making the most of this last day of *hope* really (ohmygoditdoesn'tgetanymoretensethanthisdoesit?!) - possibly chippy but more likely Chinese.

Pork fillet cooked in the oven with chick peas, garlic, onions and smoked paprika. Tasted very Spanish to me. Muy buen, mis amigos

Pork Fillet is amazing. I use honey, mustard, soy sauce and chilli.

I worry more people will clock on how good it is and they put the price up.

big pot of chicken breasts in a white sauce with lemon and tarragon and white wine vinegar. I didn't make it, but its all from fresh except the meat. Oh and the white rice cooked just right. Only had a small plate so far but there should be enough left for seconds and thirds over the election watching evening. There's also chocolate chip muffins with homemade caramel ice cream but I'm saving that for after the exit polls as a consolation. Whatever happens I am eating like a king today

Quorn spag bol and broccoli, the shrink-wrapped kind that goes a bit mushy. I made wayyyyy too much.

Is there some kind of political thing happening then? </ostrich position>

Bunkhouse one pot special again. Super Rice with Chorizo. Actually remembered to bring my veg this time. Meal becomes way more filling with a carrot and half an onion.

That said I'm now snacking on chilli peanuts.
