Curry, day two. Possibly without naan tonight coz there were only four in the pack but I cooked five days' worth of curry.

Really fancy something puddingy for after, but I'm a twat and didn't bring my wallet when I went town earlier, and I cba going back out again for Aldi when I need to go there tomorrow anyway.

I've only had goat curry* once, from Soup Kitchen in Manchester. It was nice and all that, but a bit meh and watery.

* I'm not currying favour from the poor dead goat, so 'curry goat' sounds all wrong.

Late lunch of pizza (salsiccia, mushrooms and garlic) at one of my fave places so tea is crisps, sweets and fizzy orange on the sofa bed all stretched out in the lounge

There was almost a kachumber incident though! I made it with the new packet of chilli powder I'd opened, didn't think to taste test first Turned out it was a LOT hotter than what I'd been using before (or possibly just less ancient, or both) Had a taste when I'd made it and nearly blew my head off Thankfully it has mellowed slightly after some time in the fridge...

Yesterday - my girl ate at her friend's and I was gardening all day so could only be bothered to heat up some soup.
My girl is 12 today and we went out for burgers and milkshakes...



Ate at half two and we're still stuffed, so it looks like I'm having a third night off from cooking
