What's for tea tonight? (#8)

I ended up just having cups of tea last night because I couldn't be bothered cooking, so I'm having that steak & ale pie with broccoli and brussels sprouts tonight instead. No pudding but I did have a cashew & date bar and a few mini chocolate eggs before I got back.

Yes. and I can just taste garlic - not strongly. my wee really smells of garlic. my insides have been churning since I woke up.
If I eat lots of onions I get similar - astonishing sweet oniony smelling flatulence and churning guts. So I'd probably have a similar reaction with 100 cloves of garlic. :(

Probably just overloading the ability of the body to process the foodstuffs normally - like red wee after eating loads of beetroot.

Fast day for me so courgette soup. Using leftovers for the kids to make a sort of spanish omelette - but with some chicken and a few chilli flakes added - and broccoli and buttered toast. They have chocolate mousses for pudding...I'll prob have a choc rice cake and some grapes.

Lamb chops, sliced potatoes, lots of onion and garlic and rosemary, butter beans and feta cheese, all bunged in the oven together with a glug of olive oil and some lemon quarters. Cooked long and slow, so it all sort of melts into itself.
It has no name as far as I know, I often cook it and sometimes I chuck olives and capers in, but the cupboard was bare, so there are none in tonight's.

I had a pulled pork burrito from the Little Ass Burrito, Dublin. And it was like a gift from the sky, cos I was passing by the tiny cafe today, and watching a documentary about them on TV just yesterday. :)

Pork, mushrooms and onions in black bean & garlic sauce, gingery stir fried veg, tiny bit of mixed rice, quinoa etc. Pork was fucking fit as fuck  and I've got four more portions boxed up in the fridge
