What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Chicken breast, a little gem lettuce and a granny smith apple. Might get a coffee at the station too although I really don't need any more coffee today.

I've started with stuffed cabbage leaves - though for dietary reasons, sauerkraut would have been a better idea. :hmm:

I have tofu and even more rice to use up - and homegrown beans

Darn I forgot the tofu.

I nuked the French-cut runner beans for 5 minutes then added a can of low calorie veggie soup ...

We had a picnic by the Thames after work. Waitrose is doing a third off on all their deli counter stuff so we had pork pies, scotch eggs, ricotta stuff peppers, lovely thick slices of ham, wine and tings. It was so great :D

Afterwards we went back to waitrose and bought loadsa nice stuff from tb. Aces.

Last night we went to our local pub and I had beef madras with half rice-half chips, and a couple of pint of Doom Bar.

It's going to be way too hot to cook inside later today so a bbq is looking likely.
Burgers, potato salad & coleslaw.
I really should do something with the french bean glut too, maybe some sort of salad?

Making fish stew in the slow cooker. It's Italian style so a soffritto of celery, onions and carrots, along with garlic, fish stock, tomatoes, peppers, rosemary, chilli, aubergine, lemon slices, tinned pink salmon, black olives, a can of tomatoes, and towards the end, fresh prawns. I can already smell the aroma. To be served with parsley and sundried tomato couscous.

Itll be a lateish tea probably pizza and chips in the pub, if i decide to go out, if not then beef with peppers and broccoli. Am starving now so gonna make macaroni cheese.

Beef dhansak, Bombay potatoes and rice. Slimming World is a pain in the arse, it was way too hot today to be making curry. Ordering is much easier. [emoji35]

A pot of hummus, a bit of my weekend bread and several carrots
muesli and fruit salad

To my credit I cycled 25 miles earlier - some of it quite enthusiastically.
Breakfast was a bit naughty, but lunch was a handful of brazil nuts and dates and some blackberries I grazed on half way...

Had a really nice ham and mushroom pizza at a bar where they make them from scratch and cook them in a wood oven outside. Nowhere near big enough though, I could have easily eaten two.

Fudge brownie milkshake just now.

Dominoes pizza..usually would be cos I'm hungover but tonight despite quite a lot of cider yesterday it's because we have BFs son. Pizza is his fave and we are off wet camping tomorrow. He will have pepperoni and we will have veg volcano.

At campsite tomorrow we are having a Sainsbury curry, veg jalfrezi for me, king prawn bhuna for BF and butter chicken for the boy.

Slow cooked duck in honey glaze with mash and roast carrots.
Phwoarrr, sounds ace that, blairsh. I just realised that I had two whole packs of bacon and 24 sausages that were about to go off so I've made what is quite possibly the worlds most sausagey and baconny sausage and bacon casserole. There's enough there to survive a Nuclear Winter.

More fish stew, drizzled with olive oil, fresh parsley, and gnocci. Orange sorbet for dessert (part of Lidl's latest Iberian range), which was a bit sweet but not bad. White wine, i'll nibble on some dark chocolate in a bit (about 70%, the stuff that is 'good' for you), and will try to avoid crackers and cheese/ hummus later.

A reduced breakfast triple sandwich and two yoghurts with mars bar and m&m bits.

Warm chilli chicken salad and tea when I go to Wagamama in a bit.

Fudge brownie milkshake.
