Tonight I am going to ask the bairns what they want for end of term tea, and cook that.

We've got a veggie friend coming over tonight and I'm going to do a courgette, mint & feta tart (which has a layer of minty, garlicky, pea puree on the bottom). Saffron braised potatoes and tomatoes to go with it ringo, I'm really looking forward to tasting them

I'm clearing out the freezer so I'm defrosting a duck crown which I will roast and then add some to a toulouse sausage and puy lentil casserole (with carrots, garlic and onions) that I'm making later. With potatoes, I think. Mango, melon, strawberries and icecream after, if we have room.
