What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Cor, tea last night was well lush. Got some well-earned beers, and had spinach and ricotta quiche, and cheese and onion quiche, with caramelised onion houmous, black olives, courgette slices in olive oil, iceberg salad, roast veg couscous and a 'sunblush' tomato and all-butter flatbread. Fucking gorgeous

Tonight will be red red wine, pesto gnocchi, roast tomatoes and garlic, and I've got a few mushrooms to use so will roast them too. May have more black olives and salad too *licks lips*

That sounds bloody lush, mate ♡

Last night badgers made us the most delicious and healthy meal.

It was organic, free range chicken breast fillets cooked in the oven with just a tiny bit of oil rubbed in to them.
Topped off with diced mushrooms cooked with tarragon and mixed with a tablespoon of half fat creme fraich. This was put on top of the chicken half way though.
Served with lightly braised HUGE asparagus.
It was pretty simple but fucking gorgeous.

Tonight whole wheat fusilli with chilli pesto, mushrooms and rocket.

Breaded fish, poatoes and, was going to be peas but I am in a bad mood and want comfort so we are going for baked beans instead. Plus tartare sauce!

Pub date tea:
Half a posh scotch egg with coronation mayo
tomato and garlic flatbread
and a meat platter:
rosemary & thyme coppa, chilli lomo,
fennel salami, beef beer sticks
and some tiny pungent onions and cornichons - maybe that's why i got the feeling she didn't want to see me again :D

Yesterday was my girl's tenth birthday :) ( ) and she plumped for homemade burgers so we had those in buns with mayo/lettuce/plastic cheese/ketchup with coleslaw, beetroot and cucumber sticks and they had a chocolate fudge milkshake thing for pudding.
Tonight - I have absolutely SHITLOADS of veg that needs using...baby pak choi/massive fat asparagus/green beans/tenderstem broc/yellow pepper/mushrooms...so I'm going to do a stir fry with some crispy pork and lots of sauce and rice to go with it.
Dunno about pudding :hmm: - might have to break into the mini doughnuts (which are actually for a game for daughter's party tomorrow :hmm: ) :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

I've got everything in to have stuffed chicken breasts, roasted peppers, toms and shallots with new potatoes.
I really fancy ringo's pasta now though. Will decide when Mr s gets home.
