What stupid shit has Trump done today?

If they are loyal Trumpers and boycott voting, the next two elections will have Democrat's majorities.

In a new statement that he would have posted on Twitter himself if his account was not permanently suspended for inciting violence, former President Donald Trump urged his supporters not to vote in the two upcoming elections if the Republican Party does not “solve” the supposed voter fraud that he has falsely claimed precipitated his loss to President Joe Biden.

“If we don’t solve the Presidential Election Fraud of 2020 (which we have thoroughly and conclusively documented), Republicans will not be voting in ’22 or ’24,” Trump declared. “It is the single most important thing for Republicans to do.”

After prominent Trump supporters similarly told Georgia Republicans to sit out the two runoffs in that state late last year, calling it “another rigged election,” voters ended up giving Democrats control of the Senate.

:D

Not just boats - whole countries - that would solve the problem for once and all.
See how easy it is? No need to cut back on driving or coal mining, and it's bound to create a few jobs in the bamboo pole industry.

And there's got to be something we can do about cow farts. Maybe use them to power 'Trump' approved voting machines.

And while we are on cow farts.... when I was a kid, the golden fart rule was 'breathe deep, it'll go quicker'. So, just train up a few patriotic heifers to do deep breathing exercises? MAGA!

:D

Trump's new platform didn't last too long before it was trolled.

Former President Donald Trump’s new social media platform “TRUTH Social” was accessed by Twitter users within hours of its announcement and well before officially opening up for new users to sign up.

Accounts were created under the usernames “donaldtrump” and “mikepence” and the handle “donaldjtrump” appeared to have been hacked or nabbed by someone out to mock the former president.

As is so often the case with Trump, he stumbled ass backward into the project and managed to land in pigshit — digitally, if not literally. In the most charitable interpretation of last night's debacle, a beta test version of the site prematurely ejaculated into existence and was instantly overrun by trolls. The handles for "donaldtrump," "donaldjtrump," and "mike pence" were immediately claimed, with someone posting an image of a pig defecating onto its own swollen scrotum in the former president's name.

Apt.

Within a few hours, the site was shut down and the accounts deactivated. So much for "building a 'non-cancellable' global community."

:D

TRUMP: "The insurrection took place on November 3, Election Day. January 6 was the Protest!" Trump said in a statement Thursday before the House voted to hold a former top Trump aide, Steve Bannon, in contempt for defying a subpoena from the committee investigating the Capitol riot.

TRUMP: "The Unselect Committee of partisan Democrats, and two very weak and pathetic RINOs, should come to the conclusion after spending many millions of dollars, that the real insurrection happened on November 3rd, the Presidential Election, not on January 6th -- which was a day of protesting the Fake Election results," he said in a statement Oct. 6. RINO is short for "Republican In Name Only" and there are two Republican lawmakers on the House committee.

As well as the Trump angle it's also potentially the highest profile open source lawsuit ever and huge publicity for Mastodon. Both interesting developments on their own let alone all together. 🤔
Talking of the "Trump angle", TheRegister manages to run the story without once naming the fucking idiot in charge.

Trumps beta version of Truth had this ad on it.

grrr - can't get the image I want.

Only thing is that Chevy never gave their permission to be listed on the site.

Chevrolet wasn’t the only company whose name was used in fake posts in screenshots promoting the ironically named social media platform. Fox News, The New York Times, Variety, and TechCrunch were also drawn into the unusual stunt.

Chevrolet and GM are well-advised to distance themselves from the platform being run by Trump’s team. The former president has been kicked off most established social media platforms after his supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6.

oopsy!!!! and thanks to the hackers for finding all this out for us :)

It'll be interesting to see this one pan out. A lawsuit like this would have little trouble getting crowd funded, and there would be a LOT of people with a vested interest in victory.

He would welcome a lawsuit over it as he could claim Big Tech were trying to cancel him.

He'd also immediately counter-sue everybody involved in it and tie them up in court for years.
