What stupid shit has Trump done today?

Only way it might not get ugly would be if someone on the far right did it.

Mind you then the false flag conspiracy theories would kick in.

Donald Trump said during a visit to Arizona on Tuesday that his southern border wall “stopped Covid” even as the state reported a new record high for confirmed cases of the respiratory disease.

The barrier “stopped Covid, it stopped everything”, he said before heading from a briefing to see a section of the barrier. The state reported 3,591 new cases on Tuesday, a new record, according to AZcentral.com.

The news site also reported the state announced hospitalisations crested the 2,000 mark for the first time on Monday – 2,136 coronavirus patients were using hospital beds on Monday. That was up from 1,992 on Sunday.

It is a bit disturbing...completely blatant lies are cheerfully put about and apparently either believed or documented facts have dissolved into irrelevance. Actually undermines all reportage, leaving us with a febrile, fantasy landscape of hopes and hate and magical thinking. End times, chiliastic fervour - there will be latter day crusades...O wait, we have them too...in a tanked up. stab vest, Kevlar cosplay.

Its all a total reversal of reality, isn't it? Instead of data, evidence and rational thoughts as a basis for constructing reality, we already have a whole mass fantasy and look for random 'facts' to support a fully-formed world-view

Today had a reasonably interesting interview this morning with a woman who's written a book on Melania Trump. If she was right, and I've not substantiated it, Melania is really quite conniving over her husband.

What I don't get in the whole facemask thing. And the public health / need for economic reboot thing, is why he doesn't actually ASK the Secret Service that are guarding him. After all they are all Treasury Officals

Well...that didn't take long

What does it take....?

Because it's coming from disgruntled Republicans, am sure the Trump administration will dismiss it. So far, the Russian embassy in DC and the Taliban have denied it.

Still, very interesting if it turns out to be true.

Maybe this will be what brings down the corrupt regime.

As I understand it, the core information comes from US government reports

The management of the arena where Trump held his Tulsa rally last week bought thousands of "Do not sit here please" and put them on every second seat to try to make sure social distancing happened to some extent. The Trump campaign removed them all.

Still had a lot of empty seats, according to reports...

Even fox has confirmed it

The press secretary has not denied the existence of the "alleged "Intel... Just that Trump and Pence was never briefed.....whoa.....as if
So now that they "know" .....what ...play golf ?

Yeh, shit, forgot that.

On reflection, perhaps if he wasn't doing it for the glory and photo-ops, maybe negotiating with the enemy is a "good" thing?
