Well, if the opposite is correct, then he’s not doing too badly as an illiterate idiot as his approval rating is currently at 46% which is only one point away from hitting the target of likely to be re-elected.
Especially when he’s at higher approval rating than Obama was at the same time of his presidency.
He's the only president whose approval ratings have never cracked 50%, but he still brags about them. But polls from the same pollsters suggesting he will lose in November are, of course. "fake news."

The fact that Russia interfered in the 2016 election doesn't really seem to be in dispute - an investigation led by Senate Republicans found as much. What Mueller said he couldn't prove was that the Trump campaign coordinated its efforts with Russia.
