What stupid shit has Trump done today?

Creating conscript cannon fodder for the future. :(
And keeping women barefoot, pregnant and under the thumb.

Months ago, I was convinced the policies affecting women and minority groups being championed by the Trump Administration and GOP led congress weren't just about saving money to fund tax breaks for the rich, or even just to unravel everything of substance created under the Obama presidency (although it's that, too.) It's genuine fundamentalist Christian led social engineering.

Removing basic rights from Lesbian, gay and trans folk, deporting as many brown and black immigrants as they can manage, denying entry to others, cutting access to health and social care so women end up looking after people "like in the old days," and now removing reproductive rights for so many. It's all Mike Pence's and his ilk's wet dream. :(

Trump May Visit Demilitarized Zone During Trip to South Korea

He's trying so fucking hard to provoke a war with North Korea.
U.S. President Donald Trump may travel to the demilitarized zone separating the two Koreas as part of his first visit to South Korea in November, Yonhap News reported Tuesday, citing an unidentified military official.

Trump is expected to send a "significant message" to North Korea either verbally or "kinetically" during the trip, Yonhap said, without elaborating on what that may mean.

What the fuck is kinetic messaging?" :hmm:

For those who do Twitter, this sets the scene pretty clearly, and it's scary.

Trump Kills Proposed Rule That Would Have Protected LGBT Seniors
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, part of the Department of Health and Human Services, last week withdrew a proposed rule put forth in December 2014 to assure that same-sex spouses are treated equally to opposite-sex ones in long-term care facilities that receive Medicare and Medicaid funds, which most do.
Trump Administration Says Bias Rules Don't Cover Gay Workers
The U.S. law that has protected workers from gender and racial bias for more than half a century should not be extended to cover gay and lesbian employees because that isn’t what Congress envisioned when it passed the bill, Trump administration lawyers told a federal appeals court.
DOJ moves to dismiss transgender military ban lawsuit
At the end of August, President Donald Trump signed a memo on formally directing the Pentagon to ban transgender individuals from openly serving in the U.S. military. The directive gave the Department of Defense six months to develop an implementation plan that will go into effect on March 23, 2018. Trump also directed DOD to stop gender transition-related surgeries with exceptions for individuals whose procedures are underway.
Family Splits Drive Suit Over 'Most Cruel' Trump Travel Ban
Trump’s Sept. 24 proclamation will indefinitely limit most travelers from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen, all of which were part of the original ban. It will also restrict travel to the U.S. from Chad, North Korea and Venezuela. And unlike earlier versions, the new directive doesn’t have an expiration date and has fewer exemptions based on family ties.
ICE: More immigrants arrested, fewer deported under Trump
Immmigration arrests increased by nearly 40 percent in early 2017 as newly emboldened agents under President Donald Trump detained more than 40,000 people suspected of being in the country illegally — with a renewed focus on immigrants without criminal convictions.

The numbers released by Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Thomas Homan provide a snapshot of how the new president is carrying through on his campaign promises to make immigration enforcement a top priority.

Overall, 41,300 people were arrested for deportation. Nearly 11,000 had no criminal conviction, more than double the number of immigrants without criminal convictions arrested during a comparable period last year.

Trump administration questions birth control's health benefits
Watch: Sarah Huckabee Sanders callously laughs at women who will lose their birth control
Asked by Fox Business Network correspondent Blake Burman to respond to the millions of women who will lose their access to basic health care because of the Trump administration’s vengeful decision, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders’s response was appalling.
She laughed — laughed — and then dared to suggest anyone who disagrees with the decision does not support the Constitution the way Donald Trump does.
