What stupid shit has Trump done today?

Good to see Trump has taken the bull by the horns and is now addressing the inaction of 8 years by Obama. While it is clear that Jimmy Carter was the worst one term President of the United States, Obama is clearly the worst who managed two terms, what a mess his inaction left.

I'm not sure him removing the USA's backing makes any real difference. The WHOLE WORLD understands that they are under the control of a fucking moron and are largely irrelevant when it comes to contracts and agreements. Really speaking, the USA is now the world's greatest threat to peace and should have sanctions imposed upon it.

it's been that way for a while.

I admire your confidence and I really hope you're right but how do any of us know for sure. Is he all bluster and bluff?

To be fair to him, he seemed less keen on a fight with the likes of Russia than the other one did. Probably didn't like the idea of his golf-courses being covered in nuclear fallout (and Trump Tower might even be vaporised!)

So I'm not so worried he'll kick off a nuclear war, no fun being a billionaire in a fallout bunker. He may well get the US into a devastating war in Iran, Korea or Venezuela or something though, or indirectly get us into a war with Russia or China through his inability to control militarist factions in the US who have managed to completely stump his ability to do anything peace-encouraging towards Moscow, at a time when the militaries of both countries are active in the same theatres and when the US is up to stuff involving explosives right there on Russias door-step. My opinion anyway.

It has. But somehow I haven't been this worried about nuclear conflict since Reagan. I am genuninely concerned that this man is spoiling for it. It's all about big things and spectacle with him... what could be bigger than the A bombs... what would guarantee his name forever in the history books?
Coz off the top of your head you can name the President who bombed Hiroshima?

Not a million miles away from what I'd expect from a standard Republican, or for that matter Clinton.

I have as much disdain for Clinton as the rest of them, but even she wouldn't have come up with that. It literally could have been written for him by the Saudis - even things like Khobar Towers were in there.

Yeah, the grift is more obvious I'll give you that but the substance of the policy is the same.

Federal employees allegedly brought in Puerto Ricans to provide them a ‘spa day’ while doing disaster relief: report

A veteran doctor who’s worked on humanitarian missions in ten countries affected by disaster quit abruptly after allegedly witnessing federal disaster relief staffers in Puerto Rico bring in citizens to provide them with a “spa day” on the taxpayers dime.

The doctor spoke with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, and provided images and descriptions of what she saw, as well as her resignation letter.

According to the doctor, the disaster relief employees “used the triage tents that are supposed to be for medical care and instead brought in local Puerto Rican residents to give the medical workers cut-rate manicures and pedicures,” all while on the clock.

“I find this gross misuse of taxpayer funds and abuse of our privileged positions personally abhorrent,” the doctor wrote in her lengthy resignation to her superiors at the National Disaster Medical System, a cooperative agency between Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Defense and Veterans Affairs departments.

The doctor said she opposed the “optics of NDMS medical personnel responsible for seeing injured and ill Puerto Ricans who have no homes, food or supplies having a spa day on taxpayer money,” which she found “personally abhorrent.”

Trump may be an arrogant sod, but he's certainly getting things done. Obama sat on his hands for years. The only thing he presided over was the rise of Isis.

The fear mongering prior to Trumps election was even worse than that before the EU referendum. It's little wonder that the once mighty and respected CNN is now a poor second in the ratings to Fox, due to the latters constant delivery of fake news and fear mongering.
