What are you having for breakfast?

I can only give this one a half-like I'm afraid. Cockles ! I admit to total prejudice as they look like bleached innards, apart from 'cockles' what do they taste like, do they have an equivalent ?
not had the vinegared from a jar version, just the steamed open ones, they are more texture than taste (a bit chewy), they taste of how the sea smells if that makes sense.

Pickled snot. We used to get them all the time from the chippy when I was young, my dad loved them.
 
These are the ones I get izz - you should get some as they make a good snack for breakfast, and indeed at any time of day. Just drain the vinegar and either fish them out with your fingers or tip the whole jar into your gob in one go. I don't do that of course - I'm not an animal.

two clarence court eggs (my fave) and some warburtons sliced gluten free bread out of the freezer that tastes of dust. I'd rather have the Waitrose spelt sourdough (also in the freezer) but I can't have more than 2 slices of that in a day because wholegrains destroy me. I'm saving that bread for lunch with a tin of soup.
