What are you having for breakfast?

A blend of water, oats, flaxseed, peanut butter, banana, parsley, cauliflower leaves and lime.

Weirdly, it tasted great. My partner makes fun of me for keeping cauliflower leaves but now I know what to do with them.

Oh cauli leaves - waste not want not, good on you for using them - you can use them like cabbage too - shred them and steam or fry as a vegetable side dish, salt/oil and roast them whole (for 10-15 mins depending upon how done you want them), or make coleslaw with them.

Other ones that are good but often discarded are radish and turnip tops - they have a slightly peppery or mustardy flavour and are nice raw in salads, stir fried, turned into pesto, soup, or used in similar ways to spinach.

Thanks for taking the time to write all this out - very useful! There's this..ahem, resistance to using such things in my household, but I'm sure it can be overcome with some empirical evidence that this stuff tastes great.
