Cheesy crumpets, a delight hitherto unknown by me - do you toast the crumpet, add cheese and grill to melt the cheese or is it more complicated than that ?

I had a cheese and sausage omelette with herby potatoes and a bloody Mary for second breakfast, the first being excellent black coffee.

Just toasted crumpets with cheese put on them - they're not some freakish invention by the food industry. You can easily buy bread with cheese in it, so I guess cheesy crumpets must be available somewhere though.

Then breakfast 'desert' of 1 weatabix and a few rice krispies.
