fishfinger the strangest thing has come over me. I feel like your post has given me permission to start eating my christmas cake. After all, it is huge and it there is only me and as my parents are both dead, who is there to stop me? Except the chorus of disapproval from beyond the grave of course.

I've got to decorate it first but doing that tonight with a view to eating some is feeling distinctly possible.

It does go against every fibre of my being though. Like opening the tin of Quality Street before christmas day.
