What are you baking?

Thanks lovely. I don't do the all in one either, but i don't weigh the eggs. Maybe will start. No baking powder?
I don't usually weigh them, but not having enough flour for the (Mary Berry) recipe meant I had to. I used what plain flour I had, about 190g, plus 2tsp of baking powder which brought it up to 200. It was a total fudge tbh because the recipe called for self raising :D

Bought some rhubarb from a local farm shop today.

Had a tiny portion of crumble mix left over from a crumble earlier this week.

And the food processor out from making a raw root veg salad.

Rhubarb, ginger, bit of brown sugar, tiny bit of crumble topping.

And it's absolutely outstanding. Will have serious difficulties not eating it all

I don't know what I did but I think I killed my sourdough starter stone dead. I put some bread on to rise last night and it's doing a good impression of wallpaper paste. Not so much as a bubble.

Walnut and fig. W orange zest.

Want to try it. Started cutting it.

But it's *just* out of the oven, and it'll piss steam everywhere and be far less good generally if I don't wait.

But waiting = bedtime.

Aaaaa.

We had a fruit bowl full of black bananas so I thought I'd make muffins that people could have for breakfast and found a recipe online. Weird, I thought, it only has oatmeal, no flour :hmm: but ignored myself and went ahead. Only after they'd been in the oven for 20 minutes did I spot the extra line (two cups of flour) in the recipe that I'd missed  They were fucking delicious, but really, really oily (I used coconut oil). So I put them all into a bowl, added flour and am re-baking them in a loaf tin  I reckon it might be the next big baking fad - twice baked muffins

I still can't get crumble topping right. Anyone else do it with a dairy free sub?
my mum's old recipe works fine with margarine - although the recipe I have here calls apple crumble 'amy's crumb pie'!
1.5 lbs apples
2 oz butter/marge
6oz brown sugar
6oz flour
