Apple sauce (and icing sugar). I may have put too much cinnamon in (tho it tastes yummy) and puréed it a tad longer.

That wasn't a misunderstanding, so much as mischief but I am now extremely curious to know what they're like!Week 12’s effort was inspired by existentialist’s misunderstanding of one of my previous ingredients. ‘That would be absurd’ I think I said, but I did have to check and, lo and behold, it was possible.
Two recipes, but I’ve done a few apple cakes lately so thought I’d play safe and go with the chocolate version. To be honest, it’s come out a bit heavy (not sure what effect using glutinous rather than non-glutinous flour had) and I’m not really sure what the magic ingredient adds or saves on, but it is definitely possible and pretty nice if reheated slightly in a microwave.
I doubt I’ll be rushing back to Lentil Chocolate Brownies, but it’s okay.
