I think I've seen a few nights being advertised for there. Do they have an outside area? Not really "out" out, but we've a caught a few Heritage nights in the Bricklayers Arms in Sydenham. Funk, soul, disco and a bit of dancehall. It's just half a pub and only goes on til 1. But the crowd is friendly, a lot older (we were some of the youngest there) and very dancy. Some serious dancers there. Always leave there a sweaty mess and highly recommend it.

They have a small-ish beer garden bit, where I go poncing fags, but the music is insideI think I've seen a few nights being advertised for there. Do they have an outside area?
I would like to know this too! Can't say I have clocked much just yet but expect there will be more events advertised over the next few weeks [small excitement over here]Any London events around carnival? Totally out of the loop. Looking for soundsystems, reggae and dub.
This is my local pub and I sometimes go to these. There seems to be a crowd that comes along especially for these events, along with the regular drinkers, and yeah when it's busy there are some very enthusiastic dancers and everyone keen for a chat in the garden whilst cooling off. It's a good night, free entry and drinks are as cheap as you'll find in London apart from Suburban Wetherspoons. I too would recommend. Not really "out" out, but we've a caught a few Heritage nights in the Bricklayers Arms in Sydenham. Funk, soul, disco and a bit of dancehall. Isn't it just the name of the DJ? I thought it was two DJs, but I went to a night in Ibiza last month and it was only one person playing.(Not sure what makes it Horsemeat Disco though, unless it’s now just a brand or summat?)
It was originally four i think - Jim Stanton, James Hillyard, Luke Howard and Severino. James and Luke do the Rinse FM radio show, but have no idea what the current crew comprise of. I would have thought that James at least was still at the helm, if there even is a helmIsn't it just the name of the DJ? if you want a really great night, with an oldish crowd (which i prefer nowadays), and you like Drum and Bass, check out Brixton Bass at the hootenany, it's every month mostly and it's amazing! Not really "out" out, but we've a caught a few Heritage nights in the Bricklayers Arms in Sydenham. Is this like United Sounds of Sydenham? Enjoyed a couple of those nights pre-pandemic. Thanks for posting this, will try to get to the next one.Not really "out" out, but we've a caught a few Heritage nights in the Bricklayers Arms in Sydenham. Funk, soul, disco and a bit of dancehall.
