Did Kerry refer at all to the existence of the far-right? I'm guessing not.

Ukraine crisis: sanctions won’t worry Vladimir PutinThe government will not curb trade with Russia or close London's financial centre to Russians as part of any possible package of sanctions against Moscow, according to an official document. We hear from Liam Halligan, economics commentator at the Telegraph and Bill Browder, chief executive of Hermitage Capital Management.
Satisfying as that may be to Western diplomats, economic sanctions will be extremely difficult to impose on Russia and are, for all their symbolism, likely to be counterproductive. For one thing, as is clear to anyone who knows Russia’s commercial landscape, many large and powerful Western companies have invested heavily in this vast, resource-rich country and won’t want their interests harmed.
The article goes on to discuss the West's energy dependency.Post-Soviet Russia has attracted huge foreign direct investment, going way beyond oil and gas. Western car-makers, retailers and household product companies have piled in, keen to tap into Europe’s second most valuable retail market and Russia’s highly educated and relatively cheap workforce. The likes of VW, Ford, Renault and German engineering giant Liebherr have invested billions in production facilities. Other thoroughbred Western corporates such as Pepsi, Unilever, Procter & Gamble and Boeing are also heavily committed – all of which will seriously complicate any attempt to impose economic sanctions on Russia.
Another tool in Moscow’s anti-sanctions armoury is its own fiscal strength. While the Russian economy has lately slowed, with growth currently bumping along at 1.5 per cent, it has expanded tenfold in dollar terms since the late Nineties. This has allowed Putin to pay off almost all the country’s debts – gross government liabilities are less than 10 per cent of GDP, by far the lowest of any major economy, and in net terms Russia is one of the world’s few sovereign creditors. In addition, Moscow has reserves totalling $450 billion, the world’s fourth-largest haul.
we don't do objective discussion. we're a bit more rough and tumble here. the simple fact of the matter is that you seem to think the bbc is the be all and end all of debates, that what they ask is how the debate's framed. that's utter shit and not the sort thing someone trying to have a proper discussion would bother with. if you want to fuck about posting crap about the bbc, then by all means be my guest. but debates take place across the media, on television, on radio, on print and online. the bbc only occupies a part of this space. now, even if - and you've not proved your claim by any means - even if the bbc didn't put it exactly like that, they do allow a range of voices to present their views, albeit within a certain set of parameters. they may not in the past asked 'does this have any validity at all' but they will have asked - and they certainly did in 2003 - 'has the united states proved its case?' going back to 1983 i remember there was some considerable discussion about the rights and wrongs of the invasion of grenada on the bbc: but so there also was in other media.Pickmans. I wonder if you're being deliberately obtuse. Of course none of those invasions, interventions etc. passed me by.
Of course they were debated, but how many times do you think the BBC would have put it like this "we will be examining the US case to see if it has any validity at all?"
It's a question of emphasis, as propaganda so often is, and a point I've made 3 times now (I think).
Each post of yours has included personal attack and ignored a key point.
Urban really is not at it's best when indulging one-upship ahead of objective discussion.
As such we’ll be sending her to Crimea to give her an opportunity to make up her own mind from the epicentre of the story."

Russian news agency RIA: Defence Ministry says intercontinental ballistic missile test-fired
Who are you accusing of scaremongering? RIA? Sky? The Kremlin?
it appears to be true.
There's no reason to think it's made up. Who is scaremongering?
how did the test go ? did it work ?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-26428296BBC said:19:12:
Reports say Russia has successfully test-fired an intercontinental ballistic missile from the southern Astrakhan region near the Caspian Sea.
19:22:
The dummy warhead of a ballistic missile fired by Russia on Tuesday evening has hit its target in Kazakhstan, the Russian defence ministry is quoted as saying.
is this development a cause for concern? or is this 'nothing to worry about'...?

I would imagine that test was not so much for the benefit of the Ukrainian audience...Nothing to worry. I should believe all Ukraine problems just media hysteria. Ukraine and Russia too much relating in culture, economics and everything, I dont even think their will start fight against each other. I have visited Ukraine in Soviet Times it just seems another Russia.
...why 'like' the fact that Russia has just test fired a dummy nuke Casually Red?
He calls his troops “the Blue Helmets of Maidan,” but brown is the color of the headgear worn by Delta — the nom de guerre of the commander of a Jewish-led militia force that participated in the Ukrainian revolution.
Under his helmet, he also wears a kippah.
Delta, a Ukraine-born former soldier in the Israel Defense Forces, spoke to JTA Thursday on condition of anonymity. He explained how he came to use combat skills he acquired in the Shu’alei Shimshon reconnaissance battalion of the Givati infantry brigade to rise through the ranks of Kiev’s street fighters.
