You used to guard it? Cool! That's where they broadcast the lincolnshire poacher numbers from!

Dunno. Has it?
Not at all, which was my entry point. There's an analysis of fascism that is based on it being a response to w/c challenges or a way to deal with internal contradictions that just seems to sit there - pristine, untied to what's happening here or anywhere else. The theory is cut off from the reality - or it could offer something here. I daresay we'll see the word bonaprtiasm bandied about when this is resolved but that doesn't help answer why the classic definition of fascism stands up as more than historical curio.

Yep.

Greece and now the Ukraine are interesting laboratories in this regard.

Can you have Bonapartism without a Bonaparte? None of these Ukrainian fash-trash seem to have much in the way of a charismatic leader. Even the BNP had ol' one eye.

I'm not saying that the things from the left a few months down the line that centre on bonapartism will be accurate - just that i can already sense their stale grammar already clunking into place. That said, you're right, they'll have a prob to wheel that one out without a bonaparte coming to the fore pretty soon. We may get party-bonapartism of some other perversion in its place as the definitive explanation.

"Parliamentary bonapartism" as the SP termed Hungary a few years back

Here you go apparently this 12464.00 is (apparently) the frequency for the Russian Navy. They don't tend to use the same hi-tech digital encryption as the yanks, and if Yanukovich is hiding on a Russian frigate in Sevastapol waiting for word from Moscow this is how they'll communicate with him.

Now if you start hearing morse code on that frequency try to write down the dots and dashes. Maybe we can work out what his next move will be before the world press?

Then we can enjoy sitting out WW3 in a nice cosy prison cell next to chelsea manning.

*last post on this topic, promise. as you were.
not sure i have this set right but was listening to that frequency it was quiet for a while but now im hearing some beeps and 15016 had the creepy american numbers being read out

If you zoom really close with your mousewheel sometimes it has a little legend at the bottom to tell you what you're listening too. the 15016 range is the US Air Force.

And did the beeps sound like morse code or like a modem dialling?

*apologies for digressing the thread.

surely one is noveau and the other entrenched?

Hmmm. The two original Bonapartes both played a key role in the consolidation of the modern French state. That went along with a consolidation of property ownership in France, for old money, nouveau riches, and small petty proprietors alike.

Your average post-soviet oligarch is operating in a context where the state has collapsed and only been partly put back together. They also know very well that property rights are not consolidated, as they are still susceptible to theft - after all, they did most of the thieving.

Current Ukraine diplomacy done with a kalashnikov, asking the Oblast administration to stand down. This is in Rivne a very Western town, kind of overthrowing the illusion given in the Western media that only small pockets support Russia.

Also Crimean's are demanding a referendum.

In the comments people saying he's one of the nationalists who volunteered in Chechnya - I've not got time to look through to find the name they're giving atm but if it's not come out by the time I get in tonight I'll have a look myself.

I was just watching that. The copper at 3:30ish appears to get shot? There's a bang and he drops like a stone.

I was wondering how the conspiraloon community might be viewing these events, but on the whole I'd rather not know.

I fear it'll be something like 'jews are engineering a climate of anti-semitism in order to encourage an exodus to Israel.'

Posters noting that all this might inspire other far right groupings, the Hungarian fascists are always pontificating/agitating against the Slovaks and there have been border tensions in the last few years.

Aleksander Muzyko, former Chechen fighter, power is coming from the barrel of a gun

Attack on highway to Odessa, dated 5 days ago.

Bus of Crimean police reinforcements burned, I don't know what happened to the police.

Most of the reports come from this article done by the cossacks http://novoross.info/urist/23064-nu-zdravstvuy-ukrainskiy-reyh.html in which the report of beatings and attacks against Crimean coaches on the highway. Being there is a few video's on it and everything else seems truthful I tend to believe them. He also reports that half the government seats in the Rada are empty and 7-8 of the communists they have in government are not their elected officials, but are still voting with their government cards to pass the laws.

Also report with the gangs that broke into the communist party leaders house, I'm assuming filmed before they set it on fire.
