I was just in Kiev. In the center of town they have an exhibition of captured Russian tanks. Everyone listens to the war on the radio all day, much as Brits listen to cricket. Everyone I spoke to thinks Russia has pretty much won on the ground, and that their only chance was Western sanctions or even intervention. No-one held out much hope of either.

I've long been aware of this technique, the use of racism to control the opinions and actions of black people and other minorities. It's like leaving a noose with a note on my door-step, "know your place". The noose itself won't belong to the person trying this trick, in this case a quote (one presumes... ) from some random twat said to be associated with East Ukrainian rebels has been presented to make me feel vulnerable as a black man in holding opinions sympathetic with the Russian speakers being ATO'd right now by an undemocratic regime.

This is obviously your intent, both yourself and butchersapron have tried this trick a few times in the past to alienate me from a position of solidarity with East Ukrainians by using racism.

I note there's no meaningful information about who said this quote of yours, or in what capacity. You're obviously not arguing that these racist/antisemetic sentiments are representative of some general Novorossian political ideology that they're fighting for. If that were the case then that would be reasonable... "the rebels embrace a racist ideology, how can you support that?" but that's clearly not what's happening here is it. You're trying to use racism, or to be more specific the use of words and terms like "nigger", "kike", and "sand-monkey" as proxy weapons via racist 'quotations'. Soldiers and police have been locked in a standoff with a nationalist militia in western Ukraine after a gun and grenade battle that left at least two dead.

Tensions have been rising between the government and the Right Sector militia that has helped it fight pro-Russian separatists in the east of the country.

A Right Sector spokesman, Taras Kuzyak, told Ukrainian media on Sunday that seven infantry fighting vehicles had blocked the entrance to Right Sector’s base near the town of Skole in Lviv region, adding that law enforcement was similarly cutting off access to other Right Sector bases in western Ukraine.

I guess that the issue is about these guys.
But according this video they don't seem such dangerous for me. They just stand for their national purity. This is a civic duty of each citizen of his fatherland. Am I wrong?

Seriously though I've been in Tchernovtsy for two weeks because I control closing of Ukrainian branch of our company. And I'm already fed up with this naïve straightforward propaganda pouring from local TV. This Presidential election promise to be a total circus with Darth Vader participation. And the election candidate having most chances to win is a rich businessman with great prestige in Ukrainian criminal world once again. Several years ago he organized several false foundations gathering stock from common Ukrainians deceiving and blackmailing and even killing people. Now that notorious Pravy Sector supports this ambitious and budding candidate for Presidency.
With such leader I can easily imagine future of Ukraine. In fact it won't differ from its past. Just arse it's going in would be deeper and deeper.

Ukraine, like every other state, has no "national purity". Look at a Ukrainian telephone directory - surnames drawn from Russia, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Germany, not to mention the still-extant Yiddish surnames.

Rebels in Ukraine's Donetsk plan referendum on joining Russia

Leaders of the self-proclaimed "Donetsk People's Republic" are planning to hold a referendum on seceding from Ukraine and joining Russia, the Donetsk-based Ostrov news agency reported Wednesday.

I noted on one or more of the Syria threads repeated insistence from certain quarters that there were ....god help us...no Islamist loons in the so called FSA , which beggared even my belief . I think your description of " NATO shills coming from the left flank " is absolutely spot on . And, with the number of posters driven off the thread ..site...due to sustained abuse the intent to have one less voice in the room is spot ontoo .

Let's face it , we both know the only reason you weren't denounced by the cool kids as a closet fascist / strasserite a long time ago is down to your ethnic background and the knowledge that particular attempt at silencing just wouldn't fly....in your case . I routinely get followed round the board with it . But it's definitely interesting to see how cynically the race card gets used to suit certain people's ends .

I find it sort of ha ha ironic in this particular case that the elite Donbass battalion led by Motorola , Givi et al was from the get go named after the Somalian pirates in admiration of their bravery and daring. Not that that makes them a bunch of Jeremy corbyns for a minute , but still . They plainly chose Africans and not Aryans as their non de Guerre. The Somalis boosting that Ukrainian cargo of tanks and heavy weaponry some years back probably had a lot to do with it .

But yeah..Libya, Ukraine , Syria...the sides were definitely unerringly chosen. Without fail every time . And not a fuck given for the human consequences either .

As its highly likely after the Junta forces have had plenty of time to restock, replenish and reamass recruits ....all with NATO assistance and encouragement...that we will see another offensive of Operation storm proportions I thought this film by graham phillips might be worth watching . Some unpleasant and upsetting scenes mind, just saying in advance .

There was more clashes a few days ago in Donetsk that i meant to post about.

The ukrainian government have really fucked themselves up with their toleration of these cunts and the foreign fighters that have gone in to fight for Azov etc.

Horrible though. Kiev is an amazing place :( fuck these terrorists.
