no there havent been you disingenuous git and well you know it. Whats been stated is the far right are being funnelled into the national guard and people like Yarosh put in charge of it . While the junta cant be sure the regular police and military will uniformly follow orders .

I think the fact this happened the day after the first face-to-face contact between Russia and Ukraine's new government is most interesting.
Do you think there's any credence to the idea that Russia asked the new Kiev regime to deal with the pravy sektor, in exchange for guarentees about not invading eastern Ukraine?

I think that may well be the case, whether the Russians can be held to any guarantees they make is another question.

I think it may be a result of power struggles with the security services, also don't forget that huge numbers of Ukrainians speak Russian or are Russian by ethnicity, it may be to do with that or someone realizing that this guy was a liability. I wouldn't rule out deadly splits within the extreme right itself (remember Tony Lecomber etc) all just speculation though obviously

I'd be a bit wary of attributing this to Russia or Russian influence is all, I'm not sure what they would gain from something like this. Also remember there are still going to be a lot of pro Russian elements and former regime loyalists in the Ukrainian security services and police.

Up until now, Der Spiegel in Germany has been Guardian-esque in its reporting, towing a fairly biased line, avoiding any significant criticism of the unsavoury elements of the putsch and interim government. Until today. Suddenly, they're running a title piece heavily laying into them and particularly Jazenjuk.

The far right were always lurking under the surface in Ukraine , they saw their chance to return when the Soviet Union fell . What happened to Zombie features there has nothing to do with their rise. The atmosphere him and Yuschenko were fanning was always one of gangsterism and nationalist hate mongering . Long before he joined the ranks of the undead.
