Traitors '25 Starts 1/1/25 8pm

Now managed to catch up with episode 7. Will watch 8 after lunch and then catch up with the thread, but thoughts so far…

Really liked the little Traitor moment at breakfast when Linda said she understood if Minah had to vote for her. ❤️ In fact I think Minah might be one of the nicer Traitors we’ve had. She gets a cheeky thrill out of the murders but is also relatively thoughtful about people’s feelings, isn’t doing the Paul style moustache twirling, and does seem to have her fellow traitors back as much as she can without making herself vulnerable. And her post banishment comments about have been quite sweet.

“Who’s Colombo?”
“You’re very young” :D

I really don’t want Jake to think he’s a genius because he was essentially lucky! Or to have to put up with Joe’s hero worship of him. 😭

Leanne starting to come across as a bit of a Mean Girl tbh :hmm:, and one who throws her toys out the pram the minute things don’t go her way. As was the whole Freddie and Jake running to her the minute Linda raised her name.

Next Traitors series all the Traitors are going to completely go for all their besties a few episodes in to avoid the “why am I still here” questions!

I wish Linda was plumper because there really could have been some potential around the adage “it ain’t over until the fat lady sings”. :D

I don't know why Leanne thinks Leon is a Traitor because he's got a cob on. The whole point of being a Traitor is that you throw suspicion off yourself.
It's an extremely myopic worldview, assuming that whatever is going on with another person can only be in relation to you, rather than be influenced by external factors such as, ooh, I don't know, playing card Russian roulette in the cold and then spending time in a coffin 🤔

As Ed Gamble said on the companion show, “main character energy”.

Interested to know at what point they all decided that one of the people playing the card game HAD to be a traitor and not questioning why a traitor would put themselves into a game of chance where they could get murdered.
It’s great, isn’t it? Even the shitlomat thinks it “makes sense”. This is what I love about the show: the absolute bonkers bollocks that takes off and becomes “obvious”.

I think the thought it that if it came down two a final two with a traitor then the traitor would survive as there'd be no witness by then.

I guess so but it's such a thin thread to be pulling at with nothing at all to back it up.

Having said that, they're also pulling at thin threads such as how people react when they get out of coffins or people not relaying in exact detail how a game of cards played out so no surprise really.

Tbf did they know what it would involve when they nominated people? They didn’t know it was such random game of chance iirc.

Only took me until episode 9 tonight to realise there's a thread 😅

Watched from the start, most of who I liked have been long since banished. If it's a traitor win I hope Charlotte literally launches Minah under the nearest bus! Something sadistic about an originally traitor plotting to backstab then having it done to them, especially if they're unsuspecting!

I like Frankie but she's suddenly got heat on her :( We are in the home stretch though so it would be hard to avoid it completely.

Not sure but I suspect they'd have been told they'd be at risk of actually getting eliminated if they picked themselves to play, otherwise wouldn't have been fair. I don't remember seeing that shown though so maybe it was just edited out.
