Exhilarating player to watch when on form. Good to see him in the Prem again. Think as a fella he's a jumped up bellend but I can always mute the telly when he's interviewed after scoring a 45 yard overhead kick against WBA

Bale likely to be out for 3-4 weeks due to injury
FFS that is a bit shit. Especially given the heavy fixture schedule. Hopefully (for Spurs anyway) Kane stays fit for the coming month.

Chelsea were monitoring him as a back up if the Chilwell deal fell through. He’s good I think although how his style will fit Mourinho’s tactics is anyone’s guess .

Very weird game; everyone was going in on Spurs in the first half, and they were very clearly the weaker side. And yet...
Spurs looked dejected in the first half. Shuffling round the pitch. That goal from Son was a big lift.

I honestly don't understand why Saints kept their high line for the whole game. I'm always a fan of believing in your style and playing to your strengths, but when it has so obviously become a weakness in a particular game (which it was before Son had his third) then surely you decide to change something?
