Tim Pool. Investigative journalism in Sweden after Trump allegations on immigration problems

Yep, and surely this is one of the things 'fake news' is for. You disprove it while granting its ideas some legitimacy in the process, and disguise that process as objectivity, an objectivity that openly calls the 'other side's' criticism of the fake news as wrong as the fake news itself.

What would in your opinion be an honest objective view of this issue, ie the report on the impact of mass immigration over a short period? How would you go about doing a report about it? Who would you interview?

You deliberately choose to misunderstand. If liberal or left made videos about the subject it would link to them but they don't and it doesn't. The subject is only spoken about by the right, and now, thankfully Tim Pool, who has done a great job with an objective view.

The Dutch Liberals don't bother making videos about uppity foreigners; they attack them with dogs and water cannons.

Definitely.
I live in Sweden (you have to excuse my English) and followed his videos day by day. The video where he claims an attack in Rinkeby, doesn´t show any proof of it and the threat was denied by the police that was there and another danish jourmalist Tinne Hjersing who was in Rinkeby at the time doing some work.
The interwiew that he did when he came back some days after to Rinkeby which he claims is done with locals, wasn´t even done in Rinkeby. He did it in O´learys Sundbyberg and "the locals" were anti-semitic politicians called "De fria". They even boasted about it themselves on Facebook

And there are a lot of other things that are strange with his reporting. Everyone who had an opinon that was pro-trump or against immigrantion, had there identities hidden. There are plenty enough people who dare to say it aloud so it was just to create a mistery and to support the idea of the censorship

I believe his trip to Sweden had an agenda from the beginning and that Tim Pool is an alt-right in disguise or at least "pro altright". There are so many traces of him on websites for example http://www.occidentaldissent.com/2016/08/15/tim-pool-why-im-pulling-out-of-milwaukee/ and he did Foxnews http://video.foxnews.com/v/4926552528001/?#sp=show-clips and appears on Breitbart http://www.breitbart.com/tech/2017/01/25/journalist-tim-pool-fusion-told-me-to-side-with-young-liberals-regardless-of-the-facts/ before the trip to Sweden

He does some videos once in a while that seems to be "pro-left", but I think that is just part of the plan for him looking non biased and as a serious journalist

You make some very interesting points, unlike some of the trolls on here. Can I ask you how the anti-semitism of those interviewed manifests itself? Is it broad or is it just Israel?

It would have been more legit if he had been able to interview random locals.

The point is that the interview in it self wansn´t anti-semitic or anything like that. If the "De Fria" hadn´t boasted about it on Facebook no one was supposed to know. The purpose was that they were just som random people living in Rinkeby (not true) that he happened to meet and make an interview with. And very surprisingly : ) one of them just happened to support Donald Trump... of course everything was planned, what they should talk about and so fort.

I'm hearing you.

I'm hearing you.

everyone in Sweden were just so surprised with all the odd people he met. he got a warm welcome from all the press and media in the beguinning. Television, newspapers the lot. so he succeded in getting a lot of attention from the start, and his first videos were quite ok. but he was building it up, he even says in the last video from Malmö that for sure his is going to find some action in Rinkeby..

Odd people in which regard? Are they not representative?

Is it unusual then? Were people surprised that the Swedish media were so open to Tim given he is a relative unknown here in Europe apart from the extended international 'Citizen Journalist' clan?

Can you be clear with what you are saying here? Do you think he was hamming it up? That he knew he would get what he needed to film?

First: No I wouldn´t say that. I "psycologist" that didn´t dare to speak up, so scared that he couldn´t even show his office.

Second:I Think everyone saw it as a challenge to prove that the claims of Donald Trump were ridiculus, and beeing bit surprised of the attention

Third: yes as if he was creating the attention as he went along. building up the story, saying Before he even went to Stockholm that Malmö was calm but Stockholm is not. he got a huge crowd/followers later on from all the alt-right Swedes.

Tim Pool (who I know nothing about) is now asking where he should go next.

So, there are no problems with mass immigration whatsover? Populism being fed by it is not a problem. A changing political panorama in europe is not a problem. The problem is?
I'd like you or Tim Pool to show me the people saying that 'there are no problems with mass immigration whatsoever'. This is an invented position, invented in order to create a false 'centre' in which the idiotic claims of the likes of Trump are tempered down into an only moderately anti-immigrant position.

So a video journalist operating with two cameras and a separate dedicated camera person, and who has access to a go-pro (and presumably a smart phone that can film) produces a story in which the main, controversial claims are:

1 - A group of masked men followed him out of a "no go zone"
2 - The police told him to leave for his own safety and followed him out for his own safety

But has no footage of:

1 - men in masks
2 - people following him
3 - the police telling him to leave

He does have footage of people being not Swedish in a built up area, and of a police car driving from one place to another and his group being in front of that police car.

At the end of the report, as they get in to a car to drive away he says that the police told him that "things will get bad in minutes, 50 people could be here..." and then, when the car doesn't start immediately, "what? They disabled your car."

Just saying.

Yeah that. ^

So basically, either a) he's a liar or b) he's an incompetent idiot. (or both)

My money's on a) being definitely true, and b) as a strong possibility.

If you don't agree with the racist journalist, you must be in denial about the problems he seeks to magnify and exploit. There is no other explanation.
