It’s very boring though, I can’t get past that. I don’t think it’s possible for people with brains like mine.I never used to, apart from a stint at life modelling. Was the stillest I've ever been, and made me feel very strange but relaxed. I've been doing short guided mindful stuff lately, and longer ocean sounds/binaural beats/rainy thunder podcasts. It's very effective at managing stress.
I'm in need of blank space so it's working for me.It’s very boring though, I can’t get past that
It's the loss of concentration that I'm loving about itI've listened/watched quite a bit of ASMR stuff but I stopped getting any buzz/relaxation effects a long time ago. I just get invasive thoughts and lose concentration very quickly.
I believe there is a substance which, if smoked or otherwise imbibed, can have a similar effect. Have you not tried that?Have you tried listening to any asmr/sleep google podcasts? I'm finding them pretty addictive. Am zoned out in minutes. They don't make me sleep but it's a form of meditation. Hugely relaxing.
Only thing that works for meI believe there is a substance which, if smoked or otherwise imbibed, can have a similar effect. Have you not tried that?

Horses for courses innit. Doubt it helped me study but it helped me sleep, esp after taking the speed which helped me studyMindfulness got me through uni (well, as far as I got before got too mental). I’m no expert but my lived experience tells me weed wouldn’t have helped my productivity

And a bit of psychomotor stuff going on alongside, I strongly suspect...moving around does all kinds of interesting things in the brain.Yes I seem to be able to get in the headspace when doing pottery, making a mosaic, gardening, cooking, swimming lanes in a pool... any repetitive activity which has a level of familiarity to it (as in I've done it before many times).
It happens spontaneously though, and not every time I do that activity. I can't choose to make it happen (or not).
if enough people use breath, we can drop the e, which i'm all forbreathE is the verb, people.
fuck's sake, i shouldn't have to say that.

A 32-year-old St. Paul man has posted multiple Facebook videos of himself stealing Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines by pretending he wants to get vaccinated and walking out with the vials...
Humphrey posted videos of himself walking into an Allina Health vaccination site in Oakdale and leaving with a vial of Pfizer vaccine, calling it poison. The following day, he posted a video of himself taking a vial of Johnson & Johnson vaccine from a CVS worker, again telling customers it’s poison.
Humphrey finally caught the attention of Blaine police after police were called to a Kwik Shop, where he took all the free sugar packets to draw some kind of analogy to stealing the free vaccine. The officers didn’t seem to know anything about his vaccine theft, and arrested him because he didn’t have a valid license plate. (He doesn’t believe he’s bound by the law requiring them, he says in a video.)
good fucking grief. This story is quite a wild ride:

Suspect he might have a bit more going on than covid denial tho
Fuck yeah, I want a magnetic arm. Be like being a superhero.i totally missed the whole magnetic arms story but the front page of twitter feels the need to alert me that its not true.
Which is annoying as magnetic arm might be quite useful when you've lost yr keys etc. WTF.

Now its very hard to be objective but the two of the most striking features: antisocial, sociopathic. If collective consciousness was a system, it would be like a glitch in it, like a jump over or side stepping of "normal neural pathways".These people are like religious fundamentalists. But they are actually worse than religious people because religion actually has some positive aspects to it. This has none, only negative and destructive aspects. I know some of them are religious people, but you get my point.
They are praying that they find something sinister. All those lovely validating emotions.Magnetic? These people get more desperate and ridiculous by the day.
It's not information that needs censoring or controlling, but the alorithyms. The algorithms should be controlled. Then there can be no hyper whinge (perhaps with some merit) of "control of information".
