Except that's not how it works. People who accept the medical consensus don't need to spend hours on dodgy websites or watch any shit videos produced by conmen.

The usual way I've seen flat earthers address this is by claiming that space, as we (non-flat earthers) know it, is a lie perpetuated by the world's space agencies and scientists. Of course, this runs full-tilt into the problem of maintaining such a conspiracy, given that it would have to involve hundreds of thousands of conspirators, if not millions of them. A conspiracy to hide such truth at such a scale is simply untenable, it wouldn't last five minutes before there would be hundreds of whistleblowers.

In a free society we as individuals get to decide what medical consensus is, what is a shit video and what to stick into our bodies.

We also get to say what the fuck we want, so you better learn to suck all of that up otherwise you're in for a lot of frustration.

Which is so fucking stupid. All those plebs are the why those billionaires are so obscenely rich in the first place. If a significant chunk of the world's population were to disappear, then all of their money would be worth less than it is now, as the money supply would have effectively grown massively compared to the population.

Credit where credit is due. I've debated, argued with and bitched with plenty of people over many decades on the internet, but you really do top the lot when it comes to strawman arguments. It's like you've got a factory with endless fucking straw.

Corporates of course don't want people dead, but they really don't like fit people either. It's ill people they make the money off. Remember that.

Some Flat Eathers believe the planets are 'luminaries' in the celestial sphere. Any photos of the planets are CGI promoted by NASA the root of all misinformation since before NASA was formed. If you have a Nikon P1000 camera (This seems to be the camera of choice), you can prove this, as if you point a P1000 at a planet in auto-focus mode it's a wibbly wobbly mess, thus showing it's a luminary but nothing to do with the fact the auto-focus is not working correctly in those conditions.

Sorry I've spent too much time on debunking sites.

Pretty sure that every company I've worked for has preferred their workers to be healthy. Ill workers cost them money.

Brilliant thanks. When I'm at work tomorrow at A&E instead of checking the NICE guidelines, the BNF and hospital pathways for the best treatment of heart failure/asthma/whatever I'll knock up a quick poll and pass it round the waiting room for advice to treat them.

Wish I'd known this sooner, would have saved a lot of hassle and work.

also staker - if this is all just left wing bias and the like, why were so many on the left, like many of the folk on this thread, willing to "get behind" the vax program....even when it was being rolled out by one of the most despised tory gments in recent history? maybe because some shit like public health measures are beyond politics?

More straw I see. No one is arguing against all of that. I recognise that kind of thing exists for a reason and has a useful purpose.

But nothing can be improved without critisism.

What happens if a bunch of medical professionals, do a study, for the British Medical Journey to publish their findings, for social media to then "fact check" those findings?

Cool. Fine. There are many things beyond politics, so when I rattle off endless benefits of an improved financial system, that deincentivises corruption, I expect a more mature response than "Yeah but you'll make money out of it so fuck off!!!"

Polticians have invested in "green solutions" some good some bad. I don't dismiss the good ones because a load of proponents have already invested in it and stand to make profits.

If someone discloses that they are pre-invested in anything, the grown up attitude is to be cautious, but not dismissive on that one fact.

I'm very, very pro 5G and have put many people right about the technology.

We need 5G, there is no escpaping it, so the safest thing to do with it is to have as many masts as possible, while understanding the health risks.

I've got a proper 5G router by the window, the best place for it. I know that it's communicating with the mast outside of that window - that's good. I try not carry my mobile in my pocket.

Anyone who wants 5G banned is being unreasonable. The technology is safe as long as people educate themselves and take the appropriate precautions. It's too useful in this day and age to ban or restrict. It would be like trying to ban motor vechiles overnight, to ban 5G.
