- The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus.
- The virus is spread mainly from person-to-person.
- Between people who are in close contact with one another
- Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes or talks.
- These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.
There are simple things you can do to help keep yourself and others healthy:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing; going to the bathroom; and before eating or preparing food.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
- A strong immune system may also help mitigate the virus.
- A daily does of Vitamin D3, Vitamin C, Zinc and Quercetin helps fortify the immune system
Vitamin D3 Optimal approach to dosing requires testing of 25(OH)D level.
For dosing guidance, ask Dr. Lucatorto.
Vitamin C 500–1,000mg 2 x daily
Quercetin 250mg/day
