The Mega Mug thread - show us your finest beverage holders

About 18. 3 of them in regular use as they are considered to be the correct size for most of my hot beverage desires. I will use some of the others if I
a) decide I want a larger serving of hot beverage
b) decide I want a smaller serving of hot beverage or
c) can't be arsed washing even one of the 3 favoured mugs.

Three cups, binned a load of kitchen stuff the other week as dont want to hoard stuff while im in temporary accomodation, even though ive been here for a year nearly.

I think all in all we have more than 30.
We both use the same mugs ever day though :D

Oh actually I use a different mug for peppermint tea and a different one for coffee but I don't have those that often.

4 coffee cups, 4 coffee glasses, 6 mugs. Its more than enough for us. Tea is served in the mugs.

11, but 2 (the black and white ones) came with the room so technically only 9. 2 are teacups (the big yellow one and the one next to it) and one I only use to make salad dressings (the small yellow one ). :-) The yellow tea mug is my favourite.

Also, this is an optimum number as I never run out but sometimes get close to running out. I have a fresh mug for each cup, and sometimes don't do the washing up for a day or two.

Is it just me that insists on a China cup for tea? And who will only drunk out of mugs that are white inside?

This is most of my collection. I do have a stray couple in the sideboard too, including espresso cups, but I'm actually okay at not acquiring oodles of mugs. Arranged for the purposes of the picture, hence the sideways saucer. You can see my duplicate avatar mugs there. I use the jumbo ones for tea, the Cath Kidston for hot chocolate, the smaller, for that read normal size mugs, for coffee and my twee cups for hot water and lemon or green tea.

Rutita1 I have to confess I know what that blue and white flowery Wetherspoons pattern is or what it's based on. It's Burleigh and I have Burleigh saucers but I couldn't say I knew as I was already up on the geek scale :D

I can't believe I just went and counted

15 x mugs
6 x espresso coffee cups and saucers
7 x espresso cups that don't come with saucers
3 x camping coffee mugs that you brew in the mug

I like a decent build up of tannin but I did buy denture tablets today to make sure mine don't get too manky. I like the idea of pure white but it doesn't taste as deep.

Oh and I'm geeking about the china. I have seen some Cath Kidston and Emma Bridgewater so far and I'm sure there's plenty more I could work out [emoji14]

I only have tea and coffee in china mugs.(apart from camping) Always white but some have a pattern or picture on.

The boss likes her china,Iprefer a plain mug with a nice brown stain inside though she insists on bleaching it now and again.
