My alcohol intake has gone right down since the lockdown - I've always been more of a social drinker and there doesnt seem much point banging shots when you're sat at home for the foreseeable future, and I was wondering how the rest of you are you doing.

In the last 13 days, I've only had two small bottles of Sol and half a pint of Sagres. And that's it, although I'll probably gamely drink more beers tomorrow as it's my birthday "party." Heck, I might even have a Jager shot and go wild.

Bit less than usual - my normal amount of home drinking, which is fairly moderate (two or three drinks of an evening, 4-5 nights a week) minus any going out and getting pissed with mates.

I had a glass of wine last night, which I never do mid-week but that was more because it's Easter hols here. But I am drinking slightly more if anything.

Happy birthday, Ed. It'll be weird. But hopefully not terrible.

Just a bit more, which still comes under the 'quite a lot I suppose' bracket.

On fourth dry day after a fortnight of pretty sustained drinking.

I had it all lined up for a biggie: I was DJing till 1am, and then a big guest list for my chums at a local club and then an after party, with drugs ordered for all.
'Downsized' doesn't cover how it's going to turn out now 😂 😭

I don't drink but weed intake has been a bit more than ideal. Wife has no booze and is determined to stick to me only shopping once a week (budgeting/planning exercise as much as quarantine reasons) and only thought of asking for a couple of bottles after I got back this week so she's sober till Monday at least.

I'm on night shifts and under a mandatory 14-day home quarantine, so not much time for drinking or any possibility of going to the shop - didn't get a chance to stock up either, the duty-free at Glasgow Airport was unexpectedly closed, I thought even the control tower would probably shut down first. Going to see if I can get a beer delivery arranged before the weekend though...

More. Having a beer or two most evenings. Still not drinking much, but I haven't had a drink this regularly for a few years now.

Sticking to the no drinking Monday to Thursday better than when in normal times. Binging more at the weekends though.

Cut way back on the booze over the last few months. Don't want to slip back into it. Easily done with a lot of time within the same four walls.

Before I went into lockdown I stocked up on rum and buckfast. As it was in the house and I was bored I drank a bit more than usual, but that run out on the weekend so I've been sober since then. There is some vermouth left but I don't want to tan that as it's for cooking.

I don't feel good about people risking the shops for me so I can have a drink, so it's the sober life from here on in.

I have hardly touched cannabis over the last month as I don't really need the fear at the moment

Never been a shot drinker . Over all I am drinking less despite stocking up on 5 cases of Sagres 5 3 litre boxes of red ( the latter a very reasonable 6.50 euros a wine box) . I like a beer or a few wines or a coffee and brandy but I'm definitly more of a social drinker and miss the bars catching up with news and conversation.

I don't really drink at all, most of the time, or even like alcohol, but I did have several vodkas on the Heathrow-Hong Kong flight a couple of weeks ago, and then when I got back into my apartment yesterday, after nine weeks away from home and the last 14 days in a quarantine facility, I drank half a bottle of prosecco. I would actually have another drink now, if someone offered me one.

definitely up, and beyond <moderate> if you're any kind of guidelines. tbf i think i may be the only person that doesn't adjust accordingly to report to the gp. they've seen the state of my blood

hopefully still physically fitter than say a couple of years back but tbf that baseline was lowwww :D

I never drink at home normally. Still having a few drinks on a weekend but the change from pub to home is getting a bit used to. Its cheaper but way more boring.

A few more glasses of red a night, but my usually Brixton-based daughter is with us for the foreseeable, so it's quite a nice, social session. Knocked spliffs on the head a few weeks back, seems crazy to still be smoking with a respiratory virus on the loose. Turned my bud into butter.

Is that because the pubs are not giving you freebies?

;)

I said a bit more but maybe it's just different. Less binge drinking (ie like when you go out) but having one or two more regularly and not just at weekends.

I don't smoke weed anymore but sometimes wish I did! 😐

Although I wasn't planning to stop drinking for good, I'd not had a drink for 6 months when the pubs decided to shut....then I rushed out and had 2 pints of Guinness.

I've not had a drink since even though it was my 50th on 22nd March ...and probably won't have one until places open again and I can have my birthday.
