After a bit of googling, I'm not sure. Most just say 'below the belt' or below the waist. Doesn't seem very helpful really, I'd have thought where on the body it lands should be the rule. Anyway, the pictures look like it was on the belt and not really into his groin. I wanted Usyk to win and at some point to batter Tyson Fury, but I do think Dubois was robbed there. Of course all that's assuming he wouldn't have been able to beat the count if the ref had started actually counting.

From what I've seen the term 'below the belt' is irrelevant. The rules in the different boxing federations talk about the waist and define this as a line between the top of the hips (which is probably around the bottom of the belly button). With that a good proportion of Dubois' fist was below the line. Haven't read anything, but seen a couple of videos, for example Froch:


Admittedly, I've seen other fighters saying it was legit, on the belt or at least that it was a body shot rather than a bollock shot. It clearly wasn't in his nuts, but I can't see how anyone can say it was legit if the definition above is correct.

Hope Joe Joyce packs it in now, though I doubt he will. Probably thinks he was close to the prize pre Zhang and will try another route.

Joyce has always been a brave, hard slogger with a good chin and the ability to keep coming but a good/clever boxer he is not. I felt genuinely sorry for him. I could have slipped his punches last night, they had no snap and often little power. As soon as Zhang realised he wasn't in any danger he started banging. The final punch was a beaut tbf.

Can't see Fury risking it with Zhang which is a shame as I think that has the makings of a good fight. Possibly AJ next for ZZ?

That was weird. Joyce looked like he didn't want to be there. Zhang twigged very early that there was nothing coming his way. It was really clear, really early, what was going to happen.

I'd love to see Usyk beat the shit out of him, but I don't think it will happen. Fury will maul and lean on him and also pile in the body shots, at or below the belt. I imagine there'll be quite a battle over the size of the ring.
