When have spain played beautiful football this WC?

Admittedly they haven't in this WC, though few could disagree they have been about the best team in Europe and indeed the world for the last three years, on both WC qualifying games and the actual Euros tournament (in which Spain played superb football throughout).

It is a pity they are not playing at that level now but after seeing other nations win the WC with far more mediocre performances in the past (Italy springs to mind), I wouldn't feel bad at all if Spain went on to win it playing like this.

I think Spain are missing Senna. Most of the good things in Euro08 started with a simple pass from him. He grounded them.

I would like to see Spain win the Cup, because they play beautiful football. Germany are great, but they are more like a machine.
