I quite like watching spain, good control of the match, everybody is comfortable on the ball, moments of brilliance, almost the opposite of kick and rush.

Just saw the Dutch team visiting the Queen at the palace over the road from work

They got a good cheer as they came out

Spain are good at passing, to the extent that they can complete lots of short sideways passes in non-dangerous areas..

That's just not true; Spain arguably over-passed even when right in the box, or round the edge of it. They also passed beautifully out of defence to the feet of midfielders who were pushing right up.

You can dislike the style of play but to say they aren't a good passing team is daft.
