Before any of these last four games were played, there was a bit of talk and speculation that there was a chance of two totally South American semi finals.
I doubt anyone would have thought there'd be a cat in hell's chance that the sole South American surviving team would be Uruguay.

The drama of the missed back-to-back penalties and the bizarre goal made up for the sluggish first half.

I'm not so sure about Spain against Germany. They're stumbling, but progressing, and also have a functional midfield (unlike England and Argentina).

Should be entertaining, at the very least

Tbh the German football has been much better - pass and move = a thing of beauty to me. That third goal today was so simple but utterly lovely at the same time.
