Sleaford Mods

I think that tweet says it for me. Even if you think they are fake and crap, there is the potential there to connect with what a lot of people are thinking and feeling which is outside the usual rock and roll retread cliches.

I was quite struck by this seeing them the other week Fozzie - seen them play the smaller room at the same venue a couple of times but now they're in the big room, and it's sold out and there's a vibe in the crowd like I've not seen at gigs for a few years, a sense that they really mean something to people, that they relate, that they feel a sense of ownership over them because Jason voices their feelings

I've got called an anarchist
That's for the middle class trainspotters
I don't want my dog on a string
That's gonna hurt the thing

Ahem, bit awkward round here that.

I've never pre ordered on iTunes before. Does it come available at a minute past midnight or will I be looking at my phone all day?

It's 50/50 I think. Like 50% fresh-ish and the other 50% you've heard it before on an earlier album. I think their low fi sound could lead them into a cul de sac. Maybe I'm being unkind. There was a few bits though that made me think 'that sounds like that other track.'

only got one album, cant remember which one. won't buying another. just some bloke shouting a lot. all songs sound the same.

It's growing on me a bit more now. It hasn't helped that I've been caning three of their other albums for the last month.
