Doesn't it sort of branch from the same individualist mindset though?
God, first it was killing foxes and now I can't step on a train without a mask on.

Where were we discussing mask wearing?

I can (sort of) understand why people might be suspicious of the covid vaccine. I can't really understand why someone would get pleasure from inflicting pain on a defenceless animal for no good reason. Two entirely different things imo.

Radicalised.

I'd love to see the Twitter feeds for some of these people who constantly shout 'anti-vaxxer'

That now ignored poster from yesterday being one of them.

One poster on here questions themself that somebody who refused the vaccine must be anti-semitic.

Anyway, way off topic..

This was last October. Hunt supporter drove at and hit a hunt sab on Ladywood Estate in Knossington, Leicestershire. Footage of the hit included in tweet and newspaper article.

Lee Moon, a spokesperson for the Hunt Saboteurs Association (HSA), told of how the woman sustained only tissue damage, despite the impact.

He said: "This awful incident happened at the opening meet of the Cottesmore hunt. 'Hunt sabs were present to intervene and save any foxes if they chased by the hunt.

"Suddenly a car came at high speed and ploughed straight into one of the sabs. Amazingly the injured woman only has tissue damage as she could easily have been killed."

Relating to a separate incident, Chris Mardles has pleaded guilty to GBH after trampling a hunt sab with his horse. He had previously denied the charges throughout.

Mel Broughton, a member of Northants Hunt Saboteurs, suffered from a collapsed lung, six broken ribs, a broken collar bone and a shattered shoulder blade. He had to be airlifted to hospital.

Broughton has been targeted a number of times by hunt thugs. One year after he was almost killed, he suffered two more broken ribs when a Cottesmore Hunt steward assaulted him. At the time, a hunt sab told the London Economic that Broughton was attacked and “pulled clean off” a gate. The sab said:

“He’s broken two ribs… He was on the floor in a lot of distress and pain, struggling to breathe, going in and out of consciousness before being rushed to hospital.”

Chris Mardles is due to be sentenced on the 25th of April.

Info on the hunts sabs fb page suggests that the "Avon Vale" will go rogue - as in hunt as an unregistered pack, after being expelled by the BHSA ...

that could be interesting ...

How tragic. Not.

She's not the only one. This utter scumbag is even worse. He used a hammer instead of a fist:

I made the mistake of watching that.
What a nasty piece of shite.
There is always a reason why a nag refuses to stand still, and proper ways to deal with that.
Wielding a hammer to the shins isn't one of them.
That ban should be lifelong, & for all animals.
Plus he should really have had a prison sentence.

So she kicks a stationary horse in the chest, hits it four times across the face and also happens to belong to one of the oldest hunts in the country.

Wonder if she'd like to be 'chastised' in the same manner?

Nope, thought not.

Really can't believe this vile cunt walked free. Praying the next horse she abuses tramples her to death

Equines have a very good memory for people who beat them.
Pretty sure that pony will not forget.

an anecdote ...
Friend's family, back in the day, had a cartage business.
One of the drivers was a bit too handy with his whip - he was warned, but didn't really stop beating the horses, just was more circumspect.
A few weeks after the offence for which he had been told off, he was late back and in a temper when he put the horse back into it's loose box.
He was daft enough to hit it again, but the horse was between him and the exit. It proceeded to bully him, rearing and thrashing but not actually kicking him. For some time. Eventually one of the stable hands found him and persuaded the horse to let him out ... it broke him and he never worked there again. The horse was still as sweet as pie with everyone else - and was quite able to walk the delivery rounds without help ! In fact, if the driver talked too long with the customer, the horse would start walking again, up to the next stop ...

So who's up for heading to town tonight, 8 pints and a g of pub-dust, then off to 'reasonably chastise' some cunts outside the kebabby?
